IIM Scholarships

IIM Scholarships: The MBA course fee is an aspect of higher education in the field of management that concerns every MBA aspirant. If you are planning to pursue an MBA course, then you should know the scholarships available in different management colleges in India. Several top B-Schools in India offer scholarships on the basis of the CAT exam report. On the basis of candidates' CAT result 2023, academic performance, and socioeconomic background, prestigious IIMs like IIM Ahmedabad, Lucknow, and Bangalore offer government-aided and special scholarships.

For instance, the IIM Bangalore scholarship program is quite significant because the overall cost of the MBA program at IIM-B is close to 20 lakhs. The scholarship is open to PGP students whose annual household income is less than INR 6,00,000. In terms of helping students pay their tuition expenses, private institutions are also in the lead. For eligible individuals, fee waivers of up to 100% are offered by B schools like LPU, TAPMI, Amity, and others. The list of institutions that award scholarships to students based on their merit and need also includes other eminent B-Schools, such as MDI and ISB.

The CAT 2023 exam was conducted on November 26, 2023 while the CAT Application Form 2023 was closed on September 21, 2023. Now that the CAT 2023 exam has been conducted, students can target the IIM scholarships with the help of their CAT scores. Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad

Institute for Financial Management and Research Chennai Scholarships

IFMR, Chennai is one of the most prestigious management institutes in India. It is also one of the most popular choices when it comes to MBA courses through the CAT exam. Scholarships offered by IFMR, Chennai include:

  • Means by Merit Cum Scholarships: This scholarship is awarded to deserving candidates and the scholarship amount varies from INR 1 lakh to complete tuition fee remission.

  • T Thomas Scholarship: This particular scholarship is awarded by Hindustan Unilever Limited to the top PGDM candidate of a particular batch. The scholarship amount is up to INR 1 lakh.

Institute of Rural Management Anand Scholarships

Institute of Rural Management Anand is another top-ranked institute that aspirants often consider when applying for MBA admission through the CAT exam. Scholarships at IRMA are awarded by various parties. Ratan Tata is also known to provide scholarships at IRMA. Additionally, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment gives over 15 extra scholarships that cover all of the tuition for SC/ST students. The National Dairy Development Board offers one scholarship to SC/ST candidates. The Ministry of Tribal Affairs offers five additional scholarships to SC/ST candidates.

  • To help with the cost of second-year tuition, Ratan Tata is sponsoring five merit-based scholarships with a maximum grant of INR 50,000.

  • Scholarships for SC/ST Students: SC/ST students are qualified for more than 15 scholarships that cover the whole cost of tuition.

  • 10 SC/ST student scholarships are given to IRMA by the Indian government.

  • The Ministry of Tribal Affairs administers five scholarships on behalf of the central government for SC/ST students.

  • The National Dairy Development Board offers scholarships to students from native communities as well.

Indian School of Business Hyderabad Scholarships

The Indian School of Business, Hyderabad is another premier institute for MBA aspirants in India. The ISB awards scholarships based on both merit and need. Additionally, applicants who achieve the institute's performance goals are eligible for fee waivers. Different sums of the scholarship are available, some of them are full scholarships! There are no limitations here, therefore you can and must apply for admission to this institute if you believe you have potential and can prove it.

  • The ISB works in partnership with a variety of businesses to offer scholarships all year long. A total of INR 6 Lakhs in scholarships are offered by Citibank, HSBC, and Novartis Group.

  • Additionally, 10 candidates from 10 different international geographic locations will receive a Global Scholarship worth between INR 3 lakh and INR 15 lakh.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai Scholarships

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai is a management institute that offers MBA courses only in the field of social entrepreneurship and social services and is the best management institute for that particular field. Some of the most popular scholarships offered by TISS, Mumbai include:

  • MK Tata Trust Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students from programs like social work, HRM, health administration, and hospital administration. Candidates are chosen based on need and merit.

  • Twenty Free Studentships: These scholarships are awarded to worthy candidates from low-income households.

Amity Business School Scholarship

Another popular MBA college for aspirants who are appearing for the CAT exam. The Amity Business School network is known for its financial aid and scholarships offered to deserving aspirants. Scholarships offered at Amity Business School include:

  • A complete waiver and a partial scholarship are the two types of financial help offered by the Amity Business School. Candidates are eligible for a full scholarship from Amity Business School if they achieve at least 93 percent overall (excluding physical education, fine arts, and performing arts) in Class XII of the CBSE/ICSE Board and 80 percent marks in graduation.

  • Candidates would be eligible for a 50% scholarship if they earn at least 88 percent overall in Class XII of the CBSE/ICSE and 75 percent in their graduation exam.

National Institute of Management, Mumbai Scholarships

For PGDIM/PGDISEM/PGDITM students, a 30% need-based tuition price reduction is offered to those whose household income is less than INR 150,000.

T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal Scholarships

The top three MBA program students in both years will receive a scholarship worth INR 1 lakh in addition to having strong CAT scores.

Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research

The CAT topper receives a full fee remission, the second place receives a laptop, and the third place receives a foreign-sponsored internship.

Private B-School Scholarships after CAT 2023

Given below are some of the popular scholarships based on CAT scores offered by private B-schools in India:

SRM School of Management Scholarships 

  • SRM Founders Scholarship: It is the most esteemed scholarship available to SRM students, and they cover not only the whole cost of tuition but also the costs of your hostel and mess charges as well as a stipend of INR 1,000 each month. It is awarded to students who achieve the top scores in their state on their school final exam.

  • Merit-Based Scholarship: It is awarded to students who score above 95% on the CBSE or state board exams. At the time of counselling, students receive a tuition fee waiver of up to 50% in the branch for which they are eligible. Based on how well they perform on the qualifying exam, students with financial need are given this merit-based scholarship.

  • Scholarships for Minority Students: Deserving students from minority communities are awarded scholarships for up to 25% to 100% of their tuition.

  • Scholarships for Physically Challenged Candidates: Selected students who are specially abled are offered a full tuition fee waiver.

Indus Business Academy, Bangalore Scholarships

The Indus Business Academy in Bangalore offers a range of scholarships. Corporate scholarships and merit-based scholarships offer assistance worth INR 10,000. In this way, the employer offers support to a working professional.

IBA offers a scholarship of INR 30,000 to students who have obtained the following scores:

  • 80 percent aggregate in their Class 10, Class 12, and Bachelor's degree, or

  • 80% or higher on the CAT/XAT, or

  • at least a 96 percentile on the MAT, ATMA, CMAT, or state government exams

Candidates achieving the following scores receive a scholarship worth INR 40,000:

  • 90 percentile or higher in the CAT 2023 exam, or

  • 99 percentile or higher on the MAT, ATMA, CMAT, or State Govt. exams.

Lovely Professional University, Phagwara Scholarships 

  • Scholarships are given out by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara based on how well applicants perform on the LPU-TFA (LPU-Test for Financial Aid) or in extracurricular activities like sports, culture, or National Bravery Awards.

  • A scholarship worth INR 50,000 each semester is available when the CAT percentile is higher than 90.

  • A scholarship of INR 40,000 per semester is offered to candidates having CAT percentiles between 80 and 80.99.

  • If the CAT percentile lies between 70 and 79.99, the scholarship amount stands at INR 30,000 per semester.

Skyline Business School Scholarships 

  • Candidates with outstanding GD/PI performance may be eligible for a scholarship up to INR 20,000.

  • Candidates securing the first division in graduation become eligible for a scholarship worth up to INR 20,000.

  • Scholarships up to INR 20,000 are awarded to candidates with CAT scores of 75 percentile and higher.

  • Candidates with a work experience at a Grade A organization may be awarded a scholarship of up to INR 20,000.

What is a Good CAT 2023 Score for IIM Scholarships?

Since each business school has a different cutoff for shortlisting candidates for selection rounds, the definition of a good CAT score will vary from institute to institute. In contrast to other B-schools like IIFT, IITs, FMS Delhi, and SPJIMR, which accept CAT scores below 95 percentile, IIMs require a minimum 95 percentile for admission. Hello Teesha,

The MBA course fee at Bhai Gurdas Group of Institutions adheres to the regulations set forth by the Punjab Technical University in Jalandhar and the Punjabi government. The fees are Rs 83,150 per annum. The fees had to be paid on an annual basis.
