IIM Personal Interview Form: Important Instructions

Provided below are some of the major instructions that the candidates must follow while filling out the PI form for IIMs

1. Personal information such as date of birth, name, etc., which has been taken from the application form for CAT cannot be edited

2. Aggregate marks/ percentage filled in the personal interview form for Class 10, 12 and Bachelor’s level cannot be edited

3. The applicant’s family income will include the applicant’s income, the income of her/ his parents, brothers (if not married), sisters (if not married) and spouse (if the applicant is married). Please ensure the validity of self, as well as the family income, as it will be subject to verification for internal administration if required. Candidates are required to upload a scanned copy of their signature at the end of the application form

4. Candidates who have work experience need to submit evidence in support of their work experience. It should be noted that only the certified record of work experience or the first and last payslips of each organization worked will be considered as proof of work experience

5. Candidates will have to provide scanned copies of their academic and other certificates while filling out the application form for the personal interview.

6. Candidates must note that in case the aggregate marks/ percentage filled-in Class 10th, 12th, and Bachelor’s level does not match the requirement as specified in the CAT form, their candidature is liable to be rejected due to incorrect information.

7. Candidates who are in the final year of their bachelor’s degree need to submit a certificate obtained from their college certifying that they have attained at least 50 percent marks(45% in case of SC/ST and PWD category)

Candidates are advised to fill out the application form for personal interviews carefully. They are also advised to read all the important instructions before filling out the IIM personal interview form.
