Important Instructions for WB NEET UG Round 2 Counselling

In West Bengal, the NEET UG Counselling is administered by the West Bengal Department of Health and Family Welfare. Candidates who passed the exam are eligible to enrol in NEET-UG programmes offered by West Bengal colleges. The dates for West Bengal NEET-UG 2022 round 2 counselling are yet to be released. The round 1 of the state-level counselling will end soon.

Important Instructions to follow for WB NEET-UG 2022 Round 2 Counselling

If you meet any of the following criteria, only then can you participate in WB NEET-UG Round 2 Counselling.

  • Candidates who have already registered in Round 1 and filled out their choices in Round 1 and were assigned a seat in Round 1 but wish to participate in Round 2 counselling are also eligible.

  • Candidates who enrolled in Round 1 and filled out their choices but were not assigned in Round 1 because of inter se merit position are also eligible to participate in Round 2.

  • Candidates who qualified NEET 2022 and successfully enrolled in Round 1 but did not fill their choices are also eligible to participate in Round 2.

  • The Enrollment, payment, and registration for eligible and qualified NEET 2022 candidates who did not complete during round 1 counselling for whatever reason will be allowed again during round 2 counselling.

  • Candidates who were allotted in Round 1 but did not report to the allotted institute for admission are allowed to free exit to participate in Round 2 counselling without penalty.

  • Candidates whose seats were cancelled in round 1 due to insufficient documentation but who were still qualified for a subsequent round with a revised candidacy status are allowed to participate in round 2 counselling for choice filling right away.

  • A registered candidate who has not filled out a choice in Round 2 is not allowed to participate in Round 2 counselling.

  • Candidates who surrendered seats after admission in Round 1 are not permitted to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling, including Round 2. 

  • Candidates who have accepted the allotted seat in Round 2 will not be allowed to resign/surrender and will be ineligible to participate in any subsequent rounds of counselling.

  • Candidates whose seats were cancelled in round 1 due to inability to submit required documentation (domicile; age requirements; 10+2 mark sheet with cut off marks criteria; medical fitness certificate) are no longer eligible to participate in the counselling procedure.

  • During round 2 counselling or any further rounds, the willingness to participate in a subsequent or future round will not be available.

For admission to the MBBS course at the Army College of Medical Sciences Delhi, a valid NEET UG 2023 score is necessary. The NEET cut off marks differ for various student categories (GEN, EWS, SC, ST, OBC, etc.). The 458 marks is a good NEET score if you belong to an OBC category.
