Check the amount which will be deducted from the SAF in the table below:
Category | JoSAA Processing Fee | Withdrawal Fee |

JoSAA 2025 Counselling Refund Policy: NIT+ System
Check the JoSAA 2025 counselling refund policy for the NIT+ system in the provided cases below:
Case 1: You got a seat in the NIT+ system in the JoSAA counselling in any round, and you are willing to participate in the CSAB counselling to get an upgrade for college; then:
- You will have to pay the seat acceptance fees and partial admission fees to block the seat that is allotted to you in the JoSAA counselling process, or you will not be eligible to move forward for the next round of counselling
 - Before participating in the CSAB, you will have to withdraw from the JoSAA counselling before the last round of JoSAA counselling to get a refund. However, the refund will be given for the SAF, deducting the JoSAA processing fee.
 - The Partial Admission Fee (PAF) is not refunded. If you want a refund for the PAF, then you will have to contact the college to request the amount paid. If the college has a refund policy, then the amount will be refunded (It completely depends on the college’s policy; JoSAA will not be responsible for the PAF refund)

Case 2: If you have secured a seat in JoSAA and move forward for the CSAB counselling without withdrawing from the JoSAA counselling, then:
- Before moving to the CSAB round 2 counselling, you have to surrender or withdraw your seat allocated in the JoSAA counselling. In this case, you will be refunded after the deduction of JoSAA processing fee, CSAB processing fee and the withdrawal fee, which approximately sums up to INR 12,000.
 - If you do not surrender/exit, or withdraw from the counselling process before the CSAB round 2, then no amount will be refunded in any case
