LPUNEST is not compulsory for admission to the B.Tech program, as applicants may also apply through national-level exams like JEE (Main). However, taking LPUNEST is strongly recommended since it opens the door to scholarships and improves the likelihood of getting your desired branch. Although direct admission is available, LPUNEST clearly offers an additional advantage.
