MITID DAT 2022 final results for the M.Des programmes got declared on May 18, 2022. The final result has been prepared based on the MIT DAT 2022 scores and performance of studio tests and personal interview sessions. The results were released on the official website of the MIT Institute of Design . As per the instructions of the institute, candidates checked the results by providing their roll numbers. 

The institute conducts its own entrance test called the MIT Institute of Design Design Aptitude Test or MITID DAT.  It selects candidates for its undergraduate and postgraduate design courses through this design entrance exam, The design programmes offered at MIT Institute of Design are Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Des). The application form of MITID DAT 2022 was released on October 28, 2021 and the deadline to apply for the exam was March 20, 2022. The exam was scheduled to be held on April 03, 2022 and the result got declared on April 21, 2022.

MITID DAT 2022 Important Dates

The exam schedule of MITID DAT 2022 has been released by the MIT Institute of Design. Candidates aspiring to appear for the exam must stay updated with all the important dates of MITID DAT 2022. In this way, they will be able to finish all the formalities within the given deadlines.

MITID DAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

MITID DAT 2022 B.Des Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must have completed his/ her education up to the 10 + 2 level.
• The candidates should have obtained his/ her class 12th degree from a school of a recognised central or state board of education.
• Candidates from all streams are eligible to apply.
• It is mandatory to have received passing marks in all the subjects of class 12th.

MITID DAT 2022 M.Des Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must have secured a relevant undergraduate degree (10+2+3) pattern
• The college or university from which the candidate obtains his/ her bachelor degree must be recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
• The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate in at the graduation level.
• Depending upon the M.Des specialisation the candidate wants to pursue, he/ she will be required to have a bachelor's degree. This has been explained in detail in the table given below.

MITID DAT 2022 Application Process

Candidates are required to undergo a step-by-step MITID DAT 2022 Application Process to apply for the MIT Institute of Design ( Avantika University, Shillong, Pune and Ujjain). Candidates can follow the below-mentioned process to fill up the MITID DAT application form:

Step 1: In the first stage of the application process, the online MITID DAT registration needs to be done through the official website of the MIT Institute of Design. By entering the details, candidates get a system-generated verification link in their registered email id which needs to be clicked for the activation of the account.

Step 2: Next, candidates have to enter the required information and upload their passport-size photographs.

Step 3: Then  Accept tab needs to be clicked to show their acceptance of the declaration and submit the MITID DAT application form.

Step 4: On the successful completion of the application form, candidates are required to pay the application fees by using the specified payment options.

MITID DAT 2022 Exam Pattern

In order to perform well in the entrance, it is important for the candidates to know the exam pattern of MITID DAT 2022. This will help them in the preparation for the exam and will aid them in getting a good score. MITID DAT is conducted in two phases. The eligible candidates who successfully register for the entrance test are issued the MITID DAT 2022 admit card a few days before the exam.  MITID DAT 2022 admit card is an important document that all candidates must carry to their respective exam centres along with a valid identity proof on the day of the exam. MITID DAT 2022 Exam Centres

Since MITID DAT 2022 is an offline exam, the registered candidates are required to report to the exam centres allocated to them for giving the examination. While filling the application form of MIDIT DAT 2022, the candidates will be given the option of choosing the MIDIT DAT 2022 exam centre as per their preference. The exam is conducted across several cities and candidates can provide upto to three preferences while filling the form. MITID DAT 2022 Result

The result of MITID DAT 2022  has been released. Candidates who appear for the exam can check their MITID DAT 2022 results in online mode. After the declaration of the results, candidates get to know about their ranks and marks. The successful candidates are called for further rounds of selection.

How to Check the Result? 

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the MITID DAT official site which is dat.net.in

Step 2: Next, they need to click on the Result tab.

Step 3: For MITID DAT log in, login credentials eg. Roll Number, or Application Number needs to be entered.

Step 4: Then, candidates have to click on the Submit tab.

Step 5: MITID DAT 2022 Result can be seen now.

Step 6: Candidates need to download the result. A printout of the result must be taken by the candidates.

MITID DAT 2022 Selection Process

MIT Institute of Design begins the selection process once the MITID DAT results come out. The list of the shortlisted candidates is released on the official website. Then the successful candidates for MITID DAT are called for the studio test and personal interview. The final admissions are offered depending on the performance of both tests.
