- Not Allowed Attire: Full Sleeves, kurtas, cargo pants with many pockets or hoodies.

Female Examinees
- Allowed Attire: Half sleeves tops or kurtas without large buttons, embroidery or large designs. Female examinees can wear leggings or salwar.
- Not Allowed Attire: Saree, High Heels, Jewellery of any kind or metallic hair clips.
- Footwear: Low-heeled sandals or footwear is allowed.
Customary Dresses
If you have opted for customary dress, then you must mention it in your application form and must report by 12.30 pm for special security checks.
What Not to Carry in the NEET 2026 Exam Centres?
You must be mindful of certain items that are not allowed at the NEET 2026 exam centres, such as mobile phones, pens, pencils, etc. Below is the list of prohibited items that you must not carry in the NEET exam centres 2026.
- Stationery: Pens, pencils, erasers, or pouches/pencil box. The NTA will provide a blue/black ballpoint pen inside the exam premises.
- Electronics: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or earphones.
- Accessories: Wallets, belts, handbags, goggles, or caps.
- Food/Water: Only transparent water bottles (no labels) are allowed. Food is only permitted for diabetic candidates with a medical certificate.
