NEET 2024 OMR Sheet: Release Date, Download Link, Steps to Challenge

NEET 2024 OMR Sheet will be released in the final week of May 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the OMR Sheet of NEET 2024 on its new official website @neet.ntaonline.in. The answers marked in the NEET UG 2024 Exam are displayed in the OMR sheet or response sheet. 

Students can download the OMR sheet or NEET Response Sheet 2024 and cross-check it by using the NEET Answer Key 2024. In case anyone finds issues with the answer key and OMR sheet, they can raise objections via paying INR 200 for each question. NEET Test-takers must note that this fee is non-refundable. What is the NEET OMR Sheet?

NEET OMR sheet is provided to the students in the exam hall along with the question booklet. While filling the NEET OMR sheet examinees should make sure that they mark the answers only on the sheet and not in the question booklet provided.

Details to be Filled on NEET OMR Sheet 2024

Before marking answers on the NEET 2024 OMR sheet, candidates will have to fill in some important details using a Blue or Black Ball Point Pen Only. The OMR Sheet will have two sides - the front side and the backside. The front side will have all the important instructions. Before filling out the OMR sheet, go through the guidelines so that you do miss out on the important details. Check out the other important details to be filled in on the sheet:

• NEET Roll Number in Numerals (as mentioned on NEET admit card)

NEET 2024 OMR Sheet – Latest Exam Pattern

NEET 2024 exam was held for three hours and twenty minutes from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM. The question paper was divided into two sections - Section A consisting of 35 questions and Section B comprising 15 questions, of which 10 needed to be answered. How to Mark Answers Correctly on NEET OMR Sheet 2024?

• Darken the complete circle properly: When selecting the answers make sure to darken the complete circle in NEET 2024 OMR Sheet.

• Mark One Circle, Not More than One: Darken only a single circle for each question. Make sure to not leave any gaps or change the shape of the circle. 

• Avoid additional stray marks: Avoid making any stray marks on the NEET 2024 OMR Sheet. It will be considered invalid otherwise.

• Space for rough work: Avoid using the space on the answer sheet for any rough work. You can find the dedicated space for the same on the question paper.

• Answers can't be changed: Changing answers once submitted is not permitted as per the NEET exam pattern.

Important Instructions to Fill NEET 2024 OMR Sheet

Here are some important instructions on how to fill out the NEET OMR sheet 2024 to assist you on the day of the examination. Please read the below mentioned carefully:

• Do not break the seat of the NEET OMR Sheet: The NEET 2024 OMR Sheet will be in a sealed Test Booklet. Avoid interrupting the seal unless asked by the invigilator. Breaking the seal before time can result in serious consequences such as barring the candidate from the examination.

• Pages on the sheet: The Sheet contains a side 1 and a side 2 printed on both sides of a single sheet.

• Test booklet number: Candidates must ensure that the Test Booklet number on Side 2 of the OMR sheet is the same as on the Test Booklet.

How to Download NEET 2024 OMR Sheet

Refer to the following steps to download the NTA NEET OMR sheet 2024 once they are available( For the updated availability, check the official website regularly):

• Download the PDF from official website: Find and click on the official link for the ‘NEET OMR Sheet PDF Download’

• Log-in process: Enter the login credentials – NEET Application no. and Password. Click on proceed once done.

• View/Challenge the OMR sheet: Find the tab that says ‘View/Challenge OMR Sheet’. Click on it to proceed.

• Check Similar codes: Verify the NEET exam paper code and other details in the answer sheet.

How to Challenge NEET 2024 OMR Sheet and Recorded Responses?

The process to challenge the NEET 2024 OMR Sheet is as follows:

• Step 1: Students who have appeared in NEET 2024 must visit NTA’s official website @neet.ntaonline.in. 
• Step 2: Click on the direct link available in the ‘Public Notice’ section or directly login using application number and password. 
• Step 3: Select the tab named “Select OMR challenge” and proceed once done.
• Step 4: A total of 180 questions will be displayed on your screen. Select the question which has to be challenged by you. 
• Step 5: The questions challenged by you will be displayed in the Preview Page. 
• Step 6: Click on the ‘Final Submit’ button for the next page.
• Step 7: Click on ‘Go for Payment’. Select a mode of payment and pay your processing fee of INR 200/- for each question challenged ( Make sure to not save your card/bank details in case of using a public system to access the website).
• Step 8: Remember to always print the NEET 2024 OMR Challenge Receipt before clicking out of the website. 

Note: If the challenge is found correct the processing fee will be refunded to the same account.
