To apply for admission to BPharm course in Tamil Nadu through the Lateral Entry method, students must visit the official website of the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu @tnhealth.tn.gov.in or visit the direct link given here. The link will be activated as soon as it released by the officials.

The online application form for TN BPharma admissions through lateral entry will be released in July 2026, and the last date to apply for admissions will be in August  2026. After the registration process gets completed, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu, will release the final merit list and allocate seats to students.

Students who wish to take admission to TN BPharm course through the lateral entry method must have completed a DPharm degree from a recognized institute. After satisfying the eligibility requirements, students must visit the official website of the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, and fill out the online form with all the necessary details and documents. Tamil Nadu B.Pharm Lateral Entry Merit List 2026

The merit list for B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) in Tamil Nadu is prepared by calculating the marks obtained in D.Pharm course. It will be reduced to the base of 100 marks. The Secretary, Selection Committee will publish the merit list at the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education. Candidates whose name appears in the merit list will be eligible for counselling.

Tamil Nadu B.Pharm Lateral Entry Counselling Process 2026

In order to attend the Tamil Nadu B.Pharm Lateral Entry Counselling Process, the candidates need to pay the processing fee of Rs 250/- in form of Demand Draft drawn in the favour of “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai-10”. The candidates who fail to attend the counselling session called by the selection committee will have to forfeit their claim for B.Pharm Lateral Entry admission and his or her name will not be even considered further rounds. At the time of counselling, if the candidate chooses government seats in self-financing colleges over the government colleges seat, he or she needs to submit a declaration for his/ her choice.
