TNEA Rank List 2020 - Directorate of Technical Education – Tamil Nadu has released the TNEA Rank List 2020 for B.Tech admission on September 28, 2020. The candidates must note that the rank list will have the merit position of the candidate, and the same shall be considered for the seat allotment. Candidates who have been featured in the rank list of TNEA shall be eligible for the further proceedings of counselling such as choice filling and seat allotment. Procedure of TNEA Rank List 2020 Preparation
TNEA 2020 rank list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Class 11th & 12th. Only the marks scored in group subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry shall be taken into consideration. For each subject, weightage has been fixed, and the rank shall be defined as per the weightage. More details can be checked in the table below –

Procedure after TNEA Rank List 2020 Announcement
All the candidates who have been featured in the rank list will have to fill the choice filling form where the candidates need to choose the colleges and branches. Based on the TNEA rank and college preferences, the candidates will be allocated seat. A separate seat allotment result will be announced on the date specified by DOTE Tamil Nadu.
After the seat allotment, the candidates will have to deposit the initial fee of Rs. 5,000 (Rs. 1,000 for Reserved Categories).
