Admission to various MBA programs is done through Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT). In fact, aspirants apply to various other member institutes which consider the XAT score when proceeding for the admission. S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Andheri (West), Mumbai
The SP Jain Institute of Management and Research is a part of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. It is also recognized as among the prime business schools. The institute was inaugurated in the year 1981 by the then Prime Minister of Britain, Margaret Thatcher. The institute was named after Sahu Shreyans Prasad Jain of the Sahu Jain family, who financed the institution.
