Apart from the overall percentile, candidates also have to clear the sectional cutoffs in XAT 2022. Sectional cutoffs are also released along with the overall cutoffs by colleges. Each college specifies its own sectional cutoffs. The cutoffs also vary from course to course.

What is XAT 2022 Score?

XAT 2022 Score is the marks awarded to candidates based on their performance in the exam. Calculation of the XAT 2022 Score of a candidate is done as per the questions answered by the candidate and the XAT 2022 Marking Scheme, which is as follows.

The raw marks scored by a candidate in XAT is their actual score in the exam. Since XAT is conducted in a single shift, normalization is not employed in this exam. Let us understand how the XAT score is calculated by an example.

The following formula is being used to calculate the XAT 2022 Score of the candidate.

XAT 2022 Score = (C x 1) - (X x 0.25) - { (U - 8) x (0.10) }

What is XAT 2022 Percentile?

XAT 2022 percentile is the percentage of candidates who scored less than a candidate in the XAT 2022 exam. Every candidate gets a XAT percentile based on their rank. A rank is assigned to the candidate based on their merit in the exam. The top-scoring candidate receives the 1st rank and so on. Hence, the XAT 2022 percentile of a candidate will depend on their marks and the marks scored by other candidates in the exam.
