2. National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar (PG Campus)
The National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar, established in 1961, is an extension campus of the parent institute. It is situated in the city of Gandhinagar. The disciplines are Apparel Design and Merchandising (ADM), Photography Design (PHD), Transport and Automobile Design (TAD),Toy and Game Design (TGD), Lifestyle Accessory Design (LAD),Strategic Design Management (SDM), and New Media Design (NMD).

3. National Institute of Design, Bengaluru (R&D Campus).
The National Institute of Design R&D Campus, is better known as ‘NID - Bengaluru Campus’. This is India's premier design institute situated in Bengaluru. The R&D campus specializes in Research and Development activities related to design. It is one of the three campuses that forms a part of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. NID Bengaluru Campus is recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research under Ministry of Science and Technology, government of India. It offers one Retail related; two IT related; and three post graduate design courses.

4. D. J. Academy of Design, Coimbatore
The D J Academy of Design (DJAD), Coimbatore was established in the year 2004. It belongs to the illustrious G.K.D. Charity Trust. The DJAD is an educational member of International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (ICSID) and it has an academic collaboration with the prestigious North Umbria University, UK. The vision of the institute is to be globally, the best design school.

5. IILM School of Design (IILM), Gurgaon
The IILM School of Design (IILM), Gurgaon was established in 2004. It was among the pioneers in the private sector which set up an institute for design. The School believes in following an integrated approach while teaching design.
