The cutoff marks, i.e best of four aggregate on the basis of which intakes will be carried out by the University, will be available on the official DU portal. After the applicants discover their best of four aggregate matches with the cutoff aggregate, they can visit the college and get their admission done. However, the applicants must be wary of the fact that the “best of four” subjects must include the score of the subject in which they are seeking admission otherwise 2.5% will be deducted from the “Best of Four” aggregate calculated earlier.

The admission process includes applying for the B.A English (Hons) programme via the official site of the University, followed by the publication of merit list, confirmation of seats and commencement of regular classes. Admission Process for B.A English Literature at Pune University (Savitribai Phule Pune University)
Admission into the B.A English Literature programme offered by Institutes affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (erstwhile Pune University) is a completely merit-based process. 10+2 qualified students with a minimum required aggregate at the qualifying level will be eligible to apply for the aforementioned programme at Pune University.
Admission Process for B.A English Literature at Calicut University
If a student wishes to pursue B.A in English Literature from the Calicut University, he/she have to pass 10+2 exam from a recognised Board (or equivalent) with the minimum required aggregate to be eligible for the Undergraduate Common Admission Process (CAP) round. B.A English Literature admission at Calicut University is based on a Centralized Counselling Process which is conducted as per the applicant’s marks in the qualifying exam.
Admission Process for B.A English Literature at Sharda University, Greater Noida
Admission process into the B.A English Literature programme offered at Sharda University is completely merit-based. After shortlisting the application forms (on the basis of the applicants’ 10+2 marks), the University officials will prepare a merit list. On the basis of the merit list, the shortlisted applicants will be invited to take part in a counselling process after which the applicants will be allocated seats in the B.A English (Hons) programme of Sharda University. If the aspirants want to secure a seat in one of the esteemed programme like B.A English (Hons) of Gujarat University, they have to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria because the admission process is a completely merit-based process. The Gujarat University officials will prepare a merit list on the basis of the marks secured by the applicants at the 10+2 level. On the merit list, the students will be shortlisted who will be called up for the counselling process followed by the seat allotment process.
