WB PGET 2021 official notification and exam date are expected to be confirmed in June or July. This year, there has been a delay in the entrance exam process due to the second wave Covid-19 pandemic. West Bengal Post Graduate Entrance Test or WB PGET is an online exam which is conducted by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) for candidates aspiring to take admission into various PG engineering and pharmacy programmes offered by various WB PGET participating institutions. Through the WB PGET, also known as WBUT PGET, postgraduate engineering and pharmacy aspirants can apply for admission in various colleges and institutions affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) as well. GATE qualified candidates are also eligible to apply for WB PGET but it is not mandatory for them to appear in the entrance test. WB PGET Eligibility Criteria 2021

The detailed eligibility criteria laid down by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) to appear in the WB PGET exam are as follows - 

• The applicants must be a citizen of the Indian Union

• Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy/Architecture from any AICTE recognized institution

• MCA/M.Sc degree holders are also eligible for the WB PGET exam

• Candidates who have obtained their qualifying degrees from an open university are not eligible for WB PGET

The applicants must furnish the following details during the WB PGET online application process - 

• Personal information (mobile number, date of birth, email address, name etc)

• Class Xth, XIIth and qualifying degree exam marksheets

• Correspondence address

• Details of a valid ID Proof that the candidates will carry to the examination hall

• Good quality image of the photograph with a white background along with Signature both within 50 KB size
