Who Can Participate in NEET UG AIQ Choice Filling 2025?

Category 1: Candidates who did not register in Round 1

Students who have not registered during the NEET Counselling Round 1 will have to complete a fresh registration in order to participate in the subsequent rounds.

Category 2: Candidates registered in Round 1 but were not allotted a seat

Students who have completed registration and participated in round 1 but were not allocated any seats will be able to appear for the NEET UG AIQ Round 2 Counselling 2025. In this case, applicants have to appear for only the choice filling and do not need to register further.

Category 3: Candidates who were allocated seats but did not join/report in Round 1

Students who were allocated seats in Round I but did not join or did not report to the college will be able to participate in the NEET Round 2 choice filling process. In that case, students do not need to go for any fresh registration. All the previous options will be nullified.

Round 4: Students who held a seat in Round 1 and opted for the ‘upgrade’ option

Applicants who have opted for an “upgrade” option while participating in the Round 1 counselling will be able to participate in the NEET UG AIQ Round 2 counselling process.

How to Participate in NEET UG AIQ Round 2 Choice Filling?

Here is a guide on how to participate in NEET AIQ Round 2 Choice Filling 2025:

• In the first step, applicants need to fill in their choices regarding the course and the medical institute. Students are recommended to analyse all the aspects, including the cutoff marks, before entering the names of colleges

• During the choice filling round, applicants are advised to go through the list of NEET 2025 Participating Colleges so that they can take a sound decision regarding their choice of college

• After selecting the choice of colleges, applicants have to arrange their choice of colleges according to their level of priority. Students will be able to rearrange or edit their choices during this step only

• After finalising their choices, applicants have to enter their password that was generated during the time of registration

• Once finalised, students need to click on the option “Lock Choices” for submission. Once the choices are locked, there will be no option to edit it further

• After the submission of locked choices, applicants are advised to take a printout of the choices submitted.

Here is the list of students who are not eligible to participate in NEET UG AIQ Round 2 Choice Filling 2025:

• Students who did not register for MCC counselling. Registration is mandatory to participate in the choice-filling process.

• Students who did not qualify for the NEET exam.

• Students who were allotted seats in Round 1 Seat Allotment and did not report or complete admission formalities.

• Students who have reported to the allocated colleges for offline rounds and did not select the upgrade option.

• Students who did not join and chose not to “Upgrade”.
