Maharashtra MBBS Cutoff: Based on the marks obtained in the NEET exam, State Common Entrance Test Cell - Maharashtra allocates a rank to candidates for admission in MBBS or BDS. Candidates who score well in NEET 2021 are most likely to make it to the top medical colleges in Maharashtra through 15% All India Quota or 85% State Quota. The MBBS admission process of Maharashtra consists of seat allotment and counselling process. The closing ranks for 2021 will be released only after the conclusion of the counselling process.

NEET 2021 15% AIQ for MBBS Admission in Maharashtra

Details pertaining to NEET 2021 15% AIQ for MBBS admission in Maharashtra can be checked below -

  • 15 per cent of the seats at NEET participating colleges in Maharashtra offer admissions through NEET AIQ (All India Quota). 

  • NEET 2021 cutoff for Maharashtra under AIQ will be published by MCC. 

  • The lists are released only in an online mode and they are published on the basis of the last candidate’s rank that will be granted admission after the 2nd round of NEET counselling.

NEET 2021 85% State Quota for MBBS Admission in Maharashtra

  • After the AIQ, the rest of the 85 per cent of seats at medical colleges in Maharashtra are offered to students under the State Quota. 

  • These seats are then further divided between Regional Quota (which is 70%) and State Quota (which is 30%).

  • There is a further division of quota into the constitutional and female quota.

Dear Student,

If you have qualified NEET entrance exam, you can take admission in MBBS at Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences. But in order to take admission you also need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:-

  • You must be at least 17 years.
  • Age must not be more than 25 years.
  • Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from Chhattisgarh board or any other board recognised by Chhattisgarh government with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
  • If you belong to the Unreserved category, you need secure at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology.
