College Accepting IGNOU-OPEN-MAT - Indira Gandhi National Open University OPEN-MAT

Selection Procedure

Admission to the Management Programme (MBA, DIM, PGDIM and PG Diplomas in HRM, FM, OM, MM and FMP) will be done on the basis of the score obtained in the OPENOPENMAT, conducted all over India twice a year as per above schedule. A result card will be sent to all the candidates who have appeared in the OPENOPENMAT examination. It will indicatewhether the candidate has qualified or not qualified for admission on the basis of cut-off score as decided by theUniversity. After qualifying in OPENOPENMAT, a learner will have to apply for admission on the specified APPLICATION FORM (Form 2) which is given in the Prospectus alongwith required documents to the Regional Director concerned. Learners are advised to retain a Photo Copy of the Application Form submitted to IGNOU. Walk In Interview: Candidates who qualify Entrance Test can submit the registration form (Form-2), available in the ‘Student Handbook & Prospectus’ along with the hall ticket of the Entrance Test, to the respective Regional Centres along with the required fee on any day after the receipt of result card, but not later then November 30, for admission cycles starting from January next year. Results The result of OPEN MAT 2015 will be sent to the candidates within 6-7 weeks from the date of the OPENMAT examination. If any candidate does not receive their score card, they can download their result from official website of IGNOU . Seat allocation will be based on merit score and eligibility of the candidates


Documents Required: Counselling Letter. Test Admit Card. Two Coloured Photographs (same as affixed on the application form). Original along with Self-attested photocopies of Mark-sheets and Certificates from class X to Graduation. Original along with self-attested photocopy of Caste certificate (in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates). Affidavit stating authenticity of caste certificate and in case of OBC candidates not belonging to the creamy layer. MIGRATION CERTIFICATE in original at the time of counselling. Counselling Sessions : Normally, counselling sessions are held as per a schedule drawn before hand by the Study Centre Coordinator. They are held on weekends, i.e., Saturday and Sunday. There are counselling sessions of 2½ hour duration for each course in face to face mode. Additionally the University conducts live phone-in-programmes through various stations of All India Radio. Schedule of these phone-in-programmes would be available at study centres. Live teleconferencing sessions are also conducted via satelite through interactive TV channel.
