Awards given to NBSE HSSLC Toppers 2026
The Nagaland Board recognizes and rewards the top-performing students in each subject annually with prestigious awards. The first five students with the highest marks in every group receive prizes and certificates of appreciation.

- NBSE Award : A cash prize of ₹25,000 is awarded to the topper of each stream, along with a certificate of appreciation.
- Governor’s Award : A cash prize of ₹25,000 is given to all toppers from each stream.

Nagaland HSSLC Result Revaluation 2026
The Nagaland Board will offer an opportunity to students unsatisfied with their marks in the NBSE HSSLC Exam 2026. Such students can apply for the scrutiny of NBSE HSSLC results. Students will have to apply for NBSE HSSLC revaluation in online mode by paying a requisite fee before May 2026. Students need to pay a nominal fee of Rs 500 per subject. Rescrutiny results will be released within 40 days of the result announcement. Students who will apply for rescrutiny of their answer sheets can fill out applications for the photocopies of the answer sheets. The result of the NBSE HSSLC revaluation will be made available on the official website as well as will be sent to the respective schools.

Nagaland HSSLC Compartment Exam 2026
Students who will fail in at most two subjects in the NBSE HSSLC Exam 2026 can appear for the Nagaland Board HSSLC Compartment Exam 2026 which will be held in May 2026. Soon after the release of the regular board exam results, registration for the NBSE HSSLC compartment exam 2026 will begin. They need to pay a nominal fee per subject for the compartment exams. The board will also share the detailed NBSE HSSLC compartment exam dates 2026. The NBSE HSSLC compartment result 2026 will be released in June 2026. Students can check the result online on the official website of the board at nbsenl.edu.in.

Nagaland HSSLC Passing Marks Criteria 2026
Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) prescribes the passing marks. Students who are appearing for the NBSE HSSLC Exam 2026, will have to obtain a minimum of 33% in each subject to pass the exams. In all the practical-based subjects, students will have to get at least 21 out of 70 marks, while in the nonpractical subjects, the minimum passing marks will be 27 out of 80. In the practicals, students must score at least 12 out of 30 marks, whereas in internal assessments, 6 is the minimum passing mark out of 20. Other than that, students will also have to secure 33% of aggregate marks to qualify for the NBSE HSSLC Exams 2026.

The Nagaland HSSLC Grading System 2026 is a nine-scale grading system that ranges from A1 to E2. Students will be awarded grades as per their performance in the exam.
