KMAT Karnataka 2023 Dos and Don'ts:  The Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is an annual management entrance examination administered by KPPGCA. It serves as the primary channel for gaining admission into postgraduate programs in both Bangalore and across Karnataka.The KMAT 2023 exam was held on November 5, 2023, in an online mode. The examination covered a diverse range of courses, and candidates were required to log into the site on time to participate in the test. Those taking the PBT exam could check their KMAT exam centers from the KMAT admit card which was released on November 3, 2023

KMAT Karnataka 2023: Things to Do

Listed below are some pointers you should follow for KMAT 2023.

  • Candidates should download the admit card and take a print out the KMAT admit card two-three days before the exam. This will protect them from last-minute stress or hassle.

  • Candidates should remember that no extra document apart from the admit card and ID proof is allowed inside the examination centre.

  • Applicants are advised to keep aside all the necessary documents that are to be taken at the examination centre on a day prior to the exam. 

  • Candidates can carry Aadhaar Card, PAN Card or Voter ID Card as ID proof on the exam day.

  • Candidates are advised to reach the examination centre one hour before the scheduled time so that they can get familiar with the atmosphere. Those who are late will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

  • KMAT is a paper-based (offline) exam, hence, students should carry a black or blue ball-point pen, eraser, sharpener and HB pencil.

  • Candidates are advised to follow the COVID-19 safety precautions and try to maintain a distance of at least 3 ft while standing in the centre.

  • Candidates must make sure that they are wearing a mask while entering the examination hall. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without a face mask. Candidates may wear the mark in which they are comfortable.

  • Candidates are advised to carry their own hand sanitizer bottle and use it frequently.

  • Candidates should note that no electronic gadgets (mobile phone, watch, calculator, laptops, microphones) are allowed inside the examination hall.

  • Candidates are advised not to learn any new concept or topic on the exam day. They should revise the notes prepared by them.

KMAT Karnataka 2023: Things to Avoid

Given below are few things that candidates should avoid on exam day

  • Candidates should not talk to any other candidate while sitting inside the examination hall. If any candidate has any doubt, he can raise his hand and clear it with the examiner.

  • Candidates should not carry any electronic gadgets inside the examination room. 

  • If any candidate is feeling sick, he must inform the examiner so that necessary precautions can be taken. 

  • Candidates should not waste time on any question. If they are facing a problem while answering any question, they are advised to skip that question.

  • Candidates should not touch anything inside the examination hall unnecessarily. They should sit on the seat allotted to them and stay there until the examination gets over.

  • Candidates should not disturb any other candidate during the examination. 

  • Candidates should not waste the rough sheets given to them.

  • Candidates should not peek or look into the sheet of other candidates. 

  • Candidates should not write anything on the admit card. They are also advised to keep their admit card safe.

Documents Required on KMAT Karnataka 2023 Exam Day

Candidates need to carry one ID proof along with the admit card on the exam day. They can check the list of documents that can be considered as ID proof provided below.

  • PAN Card

  • Aadhaar Card

  • Service ID Card

  • Voter ID Card

  • Passport

  • Driving License with Photograph

  • Disability Certificate

Items Not Allowed at the KMAT Karnataka 2023 Exam Centre

Candidates are not allowed to carry the items listed below inside the examination centre

  • Electronic Items (such as Mobile Phones, Wrist Watch or Calculator)

  • Snacks

  • Unnecessary documents except for ID proof
