KMAT Karnataka 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on 29th October 2020 for admission to MBA and MCA programmes in 200 institutes in Karnataka. Admission basis KMAT is offered to candidates from Karnataka domicile as well as all India category without discrimination. The exam will be conducted in the internet-based test mode (online proctored mode) as well as in offline mode(Pencil Paper Test). Earlier Karnataka Management Aptitude Test 2020 was going to be conducted on 25th October 2020 but due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the exam dates were postponed. Students appearing for KMAT will have to visit the examination centre allotted to them or they can also appear for the test from home. The exam centre allotted to the candidates will be mentioned on the KMAT Karnataka Admit Card. They can download the admit card from the official website of KMAT Karnataka. KMAT 2020: Guidelines for Online Proctored Mode of Examination
Candidates who are taking the KMAT Karnataka test from home can give the exam using a laptop or desktop and a 5 Mbps uninterrupted internet connection. The laptop or desktop should have a webcam. Candidates should remember that they will be invigilated with the help of Human Proctor and Artificial Intelligence. Candidates are advised to take the exam ethically as the exam conducting has the right to disbar the candidate if she or he is found to be using unfair means.
Basic Instructions for KMAT Karnataka IBT Exam
Candidates should use a desktop computer/ laptop which has a windows 8, 7, 10 or Ubuntu LINUX (Version 16 and 14.1)
Candidates should ensure that their laptop is connected to the charger throughout the exam duration
The laptop or desktop they are using should have an Intel Core i3 processor or above and at least 4GB of RAM for the smooth conduction of the exam
Candidates should ensure that there is no noise or disturbance in the background
All the aspirants should give the exam in formals
There should be at least 100 MB of free space in the computer
Candidates must make sure that their face is clearly visible and they should be sitting in front of the laptop throughout the exam

Instructions to be Followed during KMAT IBT
Candidates are not allowed to spear or talk during the exam.
Candidates should not leave their seats throughout the examination because their images and video will be supervised and recorded with the help of Human Proctor and Artificial Intelligence.
Candidates should keep their photo ID card and KMAT admit card ready before sitting for the exam
Candidates should not fiddle with the webcam during the examination
Candidates should not note that they are not allowed to use any electronic gadget such as calculator, tablet e.t.c while taking the exam. They can only use a pencil and plain paper after showing them to the examiner
Candidates should not open a pop-up window or any other application and if in case anybody would be caught doing so, she or he will be disqualified
KMAT Karnataka Exam Day Instructions
Candidates are advised not to learn anything new on the examination day. They can revise the notes prepared by them during the preparation.
Candidates should start their laptop 1 hour before the allotted time and read all the instructions provided on the admit card and question paper.
Those who are going to the examination hall should reach the examination hall one hour before the exam time.
Candidates should take proper rest on the night before the examination so they can concentrate on the examination.
Candidates can check the examination pattern of KMAT to understand the exam structure and marking scheme.
Candidates should not forget to carry the admit card while going to the examination hall. Any candidate who is without the admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination room.
