KMAT Karnataka 2021 application form was released on July 6. The KMAT exam date has now been released by KPPGCA. The KMAT exam will be conducted on November 7 for admission to MBA and MCA programmes in 200+ colleges in Karnataka. Admission based on KMAT score is offered to candidates from Karnataka domicile as well as all India category without discrimination.
KMAT is expected to be conducted in the internet-based test mode (online proctored mode) as well as in offline mode (Paper-based Test). Students appearing for KMAT will have to visit the examination centre allotted to them. The exam centre allotted to the candidates will be mentioned on the KMAT Karnataka 2021 Admit Card. They can download the admit card from the official website of KMAT Karnataka.

KMAT Karnataka 2021 PBT Exam Day Instructions
Candidates must follow the important exam day instructions for KMAT Karnataka 2021 given below.
Candidates are advised not to learn anything new on the examination day. They can revise the notes prepared by them during the preparation.
Candidates should reach the examination hall one hour before the exam time.
Candidates should take proper rest on the night before the examination so they can concentrate on the examination.
Candidates can check the examination pattern of KMAT to understand the exam structure and marking scheme.
Candidates should not forget to carry the admit card while going to the examination hall. Any candidate who is without the admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination room.
Apart from the admit card, candidates will also have to carry a valid photo ID proof. They can carry any one of the Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport, Pan Card or Voter ID
Candidates should carry a blue or black ball-point pen, HB pencil, eraser, sharpener only. A rough sheet will be provided inside the examination hall.
Electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, watch, microphones, laptops etc. are not allowed inside the examination centre
KMAT Karnataka 2021: Guidelines for Online Proctored Mode of Examination
Candidates who are taking the KMAT Karnataka test from home can give the exam using a laptop or desktop and a 5 Mbps uninterrupted internet connection. The laptop or desktop should have a webcam. Candidates should remember that they will be invigilated with the help of Human Proctor and Artificial Intelligence. Candidates are advised to take the exam ethically as the exam conducting has the right to disbar the candidate if she or he is found to be using unfair means.
Basic Instructions for KMAT Karnataka IBT Exam
Candidates who are appearing for KMAT Karnataka 2021 in the IBT mode must take note of the following basic instructions to have the recommended setup ready. The following are necessary requirements for any candidate who wishes to appear for KMAT Karnataka 2021 in the online proctored mode.
Candidates should use a desktop computer/ laptop which has Windows 7/ 8/ 10 or Ubuntu LINUX (Version 16 and 14.1).
Candidates should ensure that their laptop is connected to the charger throughout the exam duration.
The laptop or desktop they are using should have an Intel Core i3 processor or above and at least 4GB of RAM for the smooth conduction of the exam.
Candidates should ensure that there is no noise or disturbance in the background.
All the aspirants should appear for the exam in formal clothing.
There should be at least 100 MB of free space in the computer.
Candidates must make sure that their face is clearly visible and they should be sitting in front of the laptop throughout the exam.
Instructions to be Followed during KMAT Karnataka 2021 IBT
Candidates are not allowed to speak or talk during the exam.
Candidates should not leave their seats throughout the examination because their images and video will be supervised and recorded with the help of Human Proctor and Artificial Intelligence.
Candidates will not be allowed to take a break during the exam.
Candidates should keep their photo ID card and KMAT Admit Card ready before sitting for the exam.
Candidates should not fiddle with the webcam during the examination.
Candidates should not note that they are not allowed to use any electronic gadget such as a calculator, tablet etc. while taking the exam. They can only use a pencil and plain paper after showing them to the examiner.
Candidates should not open a pop-up window or any other application and if in case anybody would be caught doing so, she or he will be disqualified.
