Every candidate planning to take the entrance must go through the detailed syllabus to perform well and secure a seat in a CMAT participating college. It is one of the most widely taken MBA entrance exams in India. It is a national-level examination that is conducted annually in an online mode. Earlier, the AICTE was responsible for organising the exam but the National Testing Agency (NTA) has taken over as the conducting body of CMAT.
