• Government Sector - One of the best options for B.Tech ECE graduates is to apply for a government job. Although many companies recruit B.Tech candidates on the basis of their GATE scores, there are some Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), like ONGC, BHEL, MTNL, BSNL etc, where no such requirement has to be fulfilled. It is also not impossible for B.Tech ECE graduates to apply for graduate-level national qualifying exams like UPSC CDSE , SSC CGL etc and get into defence, banks, railway etc.

• Startups - We are living in an age of startups. Those B.Tech ECE graduates with in-depth knowledge about the subjects can open a startup given the fact that there is less competition in the electronics and communication industry compared to others.
