IIT Roorkee has released GATE cutoff marks for both GG1 & GG2 papers. The GATE GG1 cutoff for the General, OBC/EWS, and SC/ST/PwD categories is 38.4, 34.5, and 25.5. The cutoff scores for GATE 2025 GG2 are 40, 36, and 26.6, respectively.

GATE 2025 GG Qualifying Cutoff Marks: The cutoff scores for both GATE GG1 and GATE GG2 exams are released by IIT Roorkee on the official website. The GATE GG1 (Geology) cutoff for the General, OBC/EWS, and SC/ST/PwD categories is 38.4, 34.5, and 25.5. The cutoff scores for GATE 2025 GG2 (Geophysics) are 40, 36, and 26.6, respectively. Following the announcement of the GATE 2025 result , IIT Roorkee has now released the GATE GG cutoff marks. IIT Roorkee announced GATE 2025 qualifying marks with the GATE 2025 result, where students were able to check the minimum passing marks. The GATE 2025 GG qualifying marks determine the passing marks for the GATE 2025 exam participants. The cutoff is based on various factors, including the number of students participating in both the Geology and Geophysics exams, the availability of seats in the GATE 2025 participating colleges , the difficulty level of the GATE 2025 GG1 and GG2 exams, etc. This year, the GATE GG1 exam was attempted by 5352 students, and the GATE GG2 exam was attended by a total of 684 students.
