GATE 2026 Application Correction Process

The GATE 2026 application correction process includes multiple steps such as logging in to the GOAPS portal, paying the correction fee, and making the final submission. In the following section, we have provided the step by step process for the GATE 2026 application correction:

1. Go to the GOAPS portal and log in with your GATE 2026 credentials.

2. Select the options you want to correct and enter the correct information.

3. Click Submit.

4. Pay the required GATE application form correction fee.

Details that Cannot be Edited in GATE Application Form 2026

During the GATE application correction process, you can edit most of the information; however, there are some details you can not edit in the application form. We have provided the list of details that can’t be changed:

IIT Guwahati will soon release the GATE 2026 application correction fee details. Applicants are required to pay a different amount for changing different information. You can check the GATE 2026 application correction fees as per the previous year here:

How to Check GATE 2026 Application Status?

Once you have submitted the GATE registration form, you will be able to check the GATE application status by logging in to the GOAPS portal with your GATE 2026 exam credentials. If you make any mistakes during the application process, the GATE zonal authorities will contact you through registered contacts such as your mobile number and email.

How to Recover GATE 2026 Enrollment Number & Password?

If you have forgotten your enrollment number and password, you can recover them using your email. In this section, we have provided the step by step instructions to recover your enrollment number and password.

1. Applicants will have to use their registered email ID and valid password to know the enrollment ID.

2. The enrollment number will be sent to the applicants through SMS.

1. In case the password is forgotten, you can use your enrollment number and email address to receive the password.

2. Click on ‘Request OTP’ option to get the OTP via SMS or Email'. Now you can reset your password by using the OTP. Save the new password for future reference.

GATE registration and form fill-up is a vaital stage and so we suggest you do it very carefully so as to avoid making mistakes. However, in case of such as occurence, make sure you opt for GATE 2026 application form correction facility as per the guidelines. With a GATE score of 534 and AIR 2362 in general category, admission to top IITs in microelectronics may be tough. BITS also has very high cutoffs. but LPU offers strong M.tech programs in VLSI & microelectronics with good labs, industry tie-ups and placements, making it a great choice.

KSET eligibility requires Master's degree with 55% (50% for reserved) from UGC-recognized unbiversity, no age limit, no Karnataka residency & 7/10 years schooling needed puerely academic, open to all Indians. In GIBS Bangalore PGDM/MBA grads qualify for KSET.
