GATE EE 2026: Exam Date, Syllabus, Question Paper, Answer Key, Response Sheet

GATE EE 2026: Are you preparing for the GATE Electrical Engineering 2026 exam? If yes, then you must make sure to be aware of all the details of the entrance exam, such as the exam date, syllabus, question paper etc. The exact GATE EE exam dates for 2026 are yet to be announced. However, as per the exam schedule announced by IIT Guwahati, the EE exam is expected to take place on one of the following dates: February 7, 8, 14 or 15, 2026. The GATE 2026 syllabus includes a total of 10 sections, namely Engineering Mathematics, Electric Circuits, Electromagnetic Fields, Signals and Systems etc. A few days after the exam, IIT Guwahati will be releasing the GATE EE question paper on its website. This will be followed by the release of the answer key along with the response sheets. They will play a key role in helping you estimate your marks in the GATE 2026 exam .

The GATE EE exam has had a good competition during the course of previous years. In 2025, a total of 83,355 students registered for the exam, out of which 67,701 appeared for the same. IIT Guwahati does not release any hard copies of the question paper. However, a few days after the exam, it releases the soft copies of the question paper on its website. GATE EE 2026 Answer Key

The GATE EE 2026 answer key will be out a couple of days after the exam. With the help of the answer key, you will be able to get an idea about your tentative exam marks. Firstly, IIT Guwahati will release the provisional GATE 2026 answer key that you can object to for a given period of time. GATE EE 2026 Response Sheet

IIT Guwahati will release the GATE response sheet along with the answer key on its website. The response sheet will include the answers to the questions asked in the exam. You will be able to able to access the response sheet by logging in with your credentials. The answer key will help you get a rough idea of your exam marks.
