Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB at Gauhati University:
An applicant must have completed class 12th/SSC or its equivalent (11+1 ‘A’ level in Senior School Leaving Certificate course) from a recognised university of India or outside/ from a senior secondary board or its equivalent recognised or constituted by the State or Union Government.
The minimum aggregate score a general category and reserved category students must score in the qualifying exam is 45% and 40% respectively.
Eligibility Criteria for LLB at Gauhati University:
Candidates who have graduated in any discipline from a university or college established by a State Legislature or an act of Parliament or an equivalent national institution recognised as deemed to be university or foreign university recognised as equivalent to a status of Indian University.
A general category candidate must have qualified graduation with at least 45% marks while a reserved category requires a minimum aggregate of 40% marks in graduation.
Eligibility Criteria for LLM at Gauhati University:
Aspirants must have graduated in law with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from Gauhati University or any other institution or university recognised by Gauhati University.
If a candidate falls under the reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC and MOBC and is a permanent resident of Assam, he/she is offered 5% relaxation and can apply for admission with at least 45% marks.
