Factors Affecting the Haryana PG Medical Counselling 2023

  1. Merit list: The merit list plays a significant role in determining the order in which candidates are called for counseling. Candidates who have secured higher marks in the entrance exam will have a better chance of getting their preferred seat.
  2. Availability of seats: The number of seats available for PG medical courses in Haryana can impact the counseling process. If there are fewer seats available, the competition for those seats will be higher, and the counseling process may be more competitive.
  3. Reservation policy: Haryana follows a reservation policy for various categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/EWS. This policy can affect the number of seats available for each category, and the order in which candidates are called for counseling.
  4. Documents verification: The verification of documents is an essential part of the counseling process. Any discrepancies in the documents submitted can lead to rejection of the application, and the candidate may miss out on their preferred seat.
  5. Counseling schedule: The counseling schedule can also affect the counseling process, as candidates may have to juggle multiple counseling sessions for different states or colleges. Dear Student, For admission to the BVSc at GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar, the expected ranks vary by category. If you're a general category candidate, aim for a rank within 500 to 1000. For OBC candidates, the range is 600 to 1200. SC candidates should ideally secure a rank between 1500 and 2000, and for ST candidates, the rank should be between 2700 and 3200. As the actual cutoff ranks can vary each year, striving for a high rank in the entrance exam conducted by the university will increase your chances of admission. Best of luck!
