Important Instructions to Candidates Attending TS PGECET 2025 Counselling: TSCHE is expected to start the TS PGECET counselling tentatively in the month of July 2025. For the process, the authority will prescribe certain important instructions to students attending TS PGECET 2025 counselling that you need to keep in mind. You will only be eligible to attend PGECET counselling if you have qualified the exam. Some of the instructions to students attending PGECET counselling include uploading documents within the prescribed specifications, paying the requisite fee before the due date, etc. Not abiding by the instructions can lead to the disqualification of your candidature. There are various instructions to follow during TS PGECET counselling, such as paying the requisite fee before the due date, reporting to the allotted centres on time, etc. The points below entail all the important instructions to students attending TS PGECET counselling 2025:-

  • You will have to upload all the required documents and pay the registration fee as per the notified dates
  • The registration fee amounts to INR 600/- for the general category students, while for SC/ ST students, it is INR 300/-.
  • The Integrated Community Certificate that SC/ ST students have to upload must be duly signed by the Mandal Revenue Officer [MRO]
  • The EWS certificate that has to be uploaded by the EWS students must be issued by the MRO/ Tahsildar
  • Those who want to get admission under special categories (NCC/CAP/PH/Sports) will have to be physically present for verification of certificates by slot booking on prescribed dates.
  • You must produce all the educational certificates in their original form for certificate verification.
  • Tuition fee reimbursement will be as per the rules of the Telangana State government. The Income certificate uploaded by you must be issued by the MRO after 01-01-2025.
  • The status of preliminary online certificate verification will be notified to you through SMS on your registered mobile number.
  • In case the verification officer raises any objection regarding the wrong/improper/irrelevant certificate, then you will be provided with a chance to re-upload the documents. In case the issue is repeated, your candidature will be cancelled.
  • All the updates regarding document verification will be communicated to you via your registered mobile numbers
  • In case you have qualified more than one GATE/ TS PGECET exam, then you will have to use credentials for only one exam.
  • The list of registered students will be displayed on the official website. You will have to verify the details added on the TS PGECET registration form as given in the list. If any discrepancy is found, you must bring it to the notice of the Camp Officer/coordinator by calling the help centre immediately for corrections. It is extremely important to get the correct data, as seat allotment will depend on these details.
  • At the time of online choice filling, the courses and colleges for which you are eligible on the basis of GATE/GPAT/TSPGECET, qualifying degree, and specialisation will be displayed. Those with more than one exam will have to exercise their options on the basis of the registered hall ticket.
  • You are advised to take a printout of the exercise options for future reference
  • On the last date, the choices will be processed, and the allotment will be notified to you via SMS.
  • You will have to report to the allotted institutes and submit all the original documents for verification.
  • Final allotment of the seat for admission is subject to satisfactory verification of all original certificates at the allotted college and production of a fee paid receipt.
  • The allotment order & joining report will be issued at the allotted college. The joining report will have to be submitted along with the original transfer certificate
  • There must be 2 attested copies of all the certificates to be submitted
  • The refund of the tuition fee will take place in the following manner:-
  1. After the first phase, the full tuition fee will be refunded.
  2. 50% of the amount will be refunded after the final phase and before the cutoff date notified for cancellation in allotment order, and 100% thereafter.
  • If there remain any vacant seats, the next round of counselling will be conducted for the vacant seats.
  • For the second phase of counselling, you will have to exercise the options again, and the phase 1 options will not be considered.
  • If you are allotted seats in the second phase counselling, you will have no claim on the earlier allotted seats.
  • You will have to report to the allotted college before the final date. On failing to do so, you will lose the seat of the new as well as the old college allotted.
  • In case you wish to cancel your admission, you will have to contact the college principal.
  • The seats that remained vacant after GATE/ GPAT allotment will only be available for TS PGECET students.

TS PGECET 2025 Counselling

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) is expected to start TS PGECET 2025 counselling in the month of July 2025. The authority carries out separate rounds of counselling for the GATE and TS PGECET 2025 exam qualifiers. In order to be eligible to participate in the TS PGECET counselling process 2025, you must have qualified for either the GATE 2025 exam or the TS PGECET exam. Both GATE and TS PGECET qualified students will be allotted seats via the TS PGECET counselling process.. Those who have qualified the GATE exam will be given first priority in the PGECET counselling process.

TS PGECET Round 2 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

There are a number of eligibility guidelines that you must comply with in order to be eligible for the TS PGECET round 2 counselling 2025. Before participating in the round 2 counselling, make sure to go through the below-mentioned criteria and possess the same:-

  • Those who have been allotted seats during the TS PGECET round 1 counselling but wish to opt for another institute.
  • Those who participated in the TS PGECET counselling round 1 but were not allotted any seats.
  • Those who did not take part in the TS PGECET counselling for round 1 and were called for the counselling.
  • Those who were allocated seats during the TS PGECET round 1 counselling but did not report to the allotted institute.
  • Those who were allocated seats during the TS PGECET counselling round 1, but they cancelled the admission.

Dear Student,

It is not mandatory to pay the tuition fee for the college allotted in Phase 1 to be eligible for Phase 2 of TS PGECET 2025 counselling. If you wish to upgrade your seat you can participate in Phase 2 web options even if you do not pay the fees or report to the college allotted in the first phase. However, if you have already paid the fee for the Phase 1 college and then get a new seat in the second phase of counselling, the fees paid earlier be transferred to the new college.
