UPSEE 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on September 20, 2020. Candidates who want to take admission in engineering college, Uttar Pradesh State must fill in the application and appear for the examination. Since the examination is scheduled to be conducted in 2 months there will be enough time for students to prepare and revise the syllabus even after Class 12th board examination.

It is important for a student to know the important topics and pattern of the examination before appearing for the UPSEE 2020. It will help the student to prepare for the examination in a strategic manner and help them score better in the examination.

UPSEE examination for B.Tech admission is conducted in offline- mode. The question type of UPSEE is the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). A total of 150 questions are asked in the UPSEE examination that carries total marks of 600. Only three subjects are covered in the UPSEE- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The duration of the UPSEE examination is 3 hours. Thus, a candidate needs to attempt a total of 150 questions in 180 minutes.

UPSEE 2020 Chemistry Important Topics

A candidate who prepares well for the Chemistry section can attempt maximum questions in the section in less time. Additional time can be utilised to attempt questions from Mathematics and Physics that are time-consuming. While preparing for the Chemistry section, the candidate can divide it into organic, inorganic and physical chemistry and plan the study accordingly.

  • Isomerism and Polymers
  • Redox Reaction
  • Acid-Base
  • Colloids and Colligative Properties of Solution
  • Properties and Preparation of important elements- Hydrogen peroxide, copper sulfate, silver nitrate, plaster of Paris, borax, Mohr's salt, alums, white and red lead, microcosmic salt and bleaching powder, sodium thiosulfate.

UPSEE 2020 Mathematics Important Topics

Questions asked in Mathematics may be time-consuming as it requires calculations. However, if a candidate practices a lot of questions for each before the examination, it will be easier for them to attempt the question in less time. Check the important topics for UPSEE mathematics:

  • Coordinate Geometry

  • Probability
  • Trigonometry
  • Calculus
  • Algebra
  • Vectors
  • Dynamics
  • Statistics

The above topics are as per the syllabus of UPSEE. However, you may expect one or two questions in each section which may be tricky. Even if you do not attempt such questions you can still perform well in the examination. However, scoring good marks in UPSEE required effort, patience, and confidence.
