Factors Determining JEE Main 2026 Cutoff for Government Colleges in MP

  • Total Number of appeared student: With the higher participation of more than 13 lakh in session 1, the competition has increased, and the JEE Main cutoff for government college has also increased.
  • Exam Difficulty Level: As the difficulty level of the exam will be moderate, the percentile scored by students will be high, which will increase the Government colleges in MP cutoff as well.
  • Normalisation & Percentile System: As the JEE Main exam is held in different shifts, NTA will use percentile normalisation, which will affect the marks vs percentile & final cutoff.
  • Seats Availability: More than 60,000+ B.Tech Seats are offered in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. If the seat intake increases along with the number of candidates, the admission cutoff will be high as well
DTE Madhya Pradesh administers the B Tech admission process in MP based on the marks secured by the students in the JEE Main entrance examination. Candidates are required to register themselves on the official website of DTE Madhya Pradesh. The authority releases a merit list of all registered students based on their JEE Main marks for the commencement of the counselling procedure. Studennts are allotted seats across the participating colleges based on their JEE Main marks, choice of colleges, availability of seats, and the category of the candidates. The student can get admission in top engineering college in MP such as MANIT Bhopal, Rewa Engineering College etc with the JEE Main cutoff ranging from 12,000- 1,20,900. Various courses opted by students within this JEE Main rank range are CSE, CE, AI etc.
