The AP PGECET 2023 exam was successfully conducted from May 28 to 30, 2023. Candidates can participate in the AP PGECET counselling 2023 only through online mode at pgecet-sche.aptonline.in. List of Documents Required for AP PGECET 2023 Counselling

Candidates can check out the important documents that are required to be produced for the AP PGECET counselling 2023 from the table below

Document Purpose

GATE / GPAT/ AP PGECET 2023 rank card

The rank card is an important document indicating the candidate's rank in the qualifying examination. The rank card must be downloaded and printed from the official website after the declaration of the results which will be further verified during the counselling process.

AP PGECET admit card 2023

The admit card is another crucial document necessary for counselling as it serves as proof of the candidate's appearance in the examination. The admit card must be produced in its original form during the document verification process.

10th and 12th Marksheet and Passing Certificate

The class 10th and 12th mark sheet and passing certificate are required to be provided as proof of educational qualification. Original and photocopies of these documents are required for verification.

Intermediate or Equivalent Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate

In case candidates complete intermediate education or any equivalent course, they are required to produce the original and photocopies of the mark sheet and passing certificate during the counselling process.

Caste Certificate (if applicable)

Candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST/BC) must provide a valid caste certificate issued by the competent authority. The certificate must be in the candidate's name and provide proof of their category.

Income Certificate

An income certificate is needed for candidates applying for fee reimbursement or scholarships. It serves as evidence of the candidate's family income and must be issued by the competent authority.

Migration/ Transfer Certificate

A migration/ transfer certificate is indicative of change in course/ school which helps candidates for admission into courses/ colleges of their choice

Aadhaar Card

The original Aadhaar card along with a photocopy must be provided during counselling. It serves as proof of identity and is necessary for document verification.

Residence certificate of either of parents for 10 years in A.P/Telangana excluding the period of their employment outside A.P/Telangana from M.R.O. for candidates who studied outside the state of AP/Telangana

The residence certificate is the proof of a candidate staying in a particular place for a long period of time stating that the candidate is a permanent resident of that particular place

Disability Certificate (if applicable)

Disability certificate is a document that a candidate with any disability of more than 40 percent requires in order to avail any facilities, benefits or concessions under the available schemes.



Documents required by Special Category candidates

PH Category: Candidates belonging to the category are required to submit a certificate issued by the District Medical Board and should have a disability of 40% and above.

CAP Category: Candidates from this category should submit the following documents:

  • Service certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer
  • Identity Card
  • Serving persons have to submit Service Certificates from their workplace showing the relationship with the candidate
  • Candidates whose parents are domicile of AP/Telangana are considered to be eligible to come under the CAP category
  • Discharge Book for verification

NCC Category: Candidates who belong to this category have to submit their A, B, C certificates

AP PGECET 2023 Counselling - Important Points

Candidates should keep in mind the following points related to the AP PGECET counselling process 2023.

  • Candidates qualifying GATE/GPAT are required to attend the AP PGECET 2023 counselling for admission into M.Tech/M.E/Pharma.D (PB)/M. Pharmacy courses and visit any of the designated helpline centres
  • Admission will be granted only after the candidates qualify for all the prescribed criteria 
  • Admission will be confirmed after the candidates submit the tuition fee
  • Seats remaining after the completion of GATE/ GPAT seat allotment will be available for AP PGECET candidates
  • Candidates will not receive any separate notification about the AP PGECET counselling process 2023 from the authorities
  • Candidates will not be guaranteed a seat by virtue of only attending the AP PGECET counselling 2023
  • Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee using any of the available online payment methods
