About AP PGECET 2020 (Result Out)

The results for AP PGECET 2020 have been released on October 23, 2020. The entrance exam was conducted on September 28, 29 & 30, 2020.  On behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), a Postgraduate entrance examination is conducted by Andhra University in Visakhapatnam, called AP PGECET, for aspirants seeking admission into various PG courses offered by the APSCHE affiliated colleges.

Through AP PGECET, graduates belonging to the state of Andhra Pradesh can apply for admission into postgraduate programmes related to Engineering, Pharmacy and Technology fields of study. 

AP PGECET application form is usually released in the month of March every year, most of the times, during the first week of the aforementioned month itself. Candidates from Andhra Pradesh can only apply for this state-level entrance examination via the online mode. 

The exam officials release the AP PGECET preliminary answer key within 24 to 48 hours of the exam conclusion. The candidates are given 2 to 3 days to raise objections, if any, against the preliminary answer key following which they release the final answer key. 

The AP PGECET officials work in a very quick and efficient manner which can be understood from the fact that the AP PGECET result is released within a fortnight from the date on which the exam is conducted. After the AP PGECET result is released, the authorities conduct the counselling process and seat allotment process through which the eligible candidates can land up into their desired course and college.

AP PGECET, short for Andhra Pradesh Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test, is organised for candidates seeking admission in M.Tech, M.Pharma and related courses in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy, and Technology. AP PGECET 2020 will be organised by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

APSCHE, short for Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, was established on 20th May 1988. APSCHE conducts various entrance tests namely EAMCET, ICET, ECET, EdCET, PGECET for candidates residing in the state of Andhra Pradesh. AP State Council of Higher education is a coordinating body between the University Grants Commission (UGC), the State Government and the Universities and advise the Government in matters relating to Higher Education in the AP State.
