AP PGECET 2026 counselling is expected to commence in July 2026. Through this process, eligible students secure seats in postgraduate engineering and pharmacy programmes offered in Andhra Pradesh. 

AP PGECET counselling begins with registration on the official portal, followed by uploading certificates for verification. Once the documents are approved, aspirants can enter their preferred colleges and courses through the AP PGECET web options module. The AP PGECET seat allotment is released online based on merit, reservation rules, and the choices submitted.

Detailed AP PGECET 2026 Counselling Process

The counselling process will be conducted in the online mode only, both for GATE/ GPAT aspirants and AP PGECET. However, during allocation, GATE/ GPAT applicants will be given priority. The remaining seats will be assigned to those who cleared AP PGECET. Check the process below.

AP PGECET Counselling 2026 Registration

• Aspirants who successfully clear the entrance exam for the AP PGECET 2026 should fill out the registration form for the AP PGECET counselling 2026 process.
• The AP PGECET counselling form 2026 requires them to provide details about their eligibility, such as the test year, paper code, registration number, gender, and last qualifying score.

Documents Required by Special Category Candidates:

PH Category:Aspirants who belong to the PH category have to submit a certificate issued by the District Medical Board and should have a disability of 40% or above.

CAP Category: Those who belong to this category should submit the following documents:

• Service certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer
• Identity Card
• Serving persons have to submit Service Certificates from their workplace showing the relationship with the candidate
• The candidate whose parents are domiciled of AP/ Telangana is considered to be eligible to come under the CAP category
• Discharge Book for verification

NCC Category: Those who belong to this category have to submit their A, B, and C certificates

AP PGECET 2026 Counselling for GATE/ GPAT Candidates

Here is what the applicants applying for the AP PGECET 2026 counselling process based on GATE or GPAT scores have to do -

Step 1: The aspirants have to visit the official website of APSCHE.

Step 2: They have to search for the “AP PGECET 2026 Counselling” link on the homepage of the official website for registration purposes

Step 3: They will be asked to choose their desired stream from the drop-down list (GATE/ GPAT)

Step 4: In this step, they will be asked to fill in their details such as name, contact number, qualifying degree, etc

Step 5: After filling in all the details asked for, they have to click on the “Initiate Payment” tab to pay the counselling registration fee

Step 6: They have to use any of the available online payment methods to pay the required fee.

Step 7: After receiving payment confirmation, they have to visit the official website again to check their payment status.

Here are some pointers regarding the AP PGECET 2026 counselling process, which must be remembered by the applicants:

• Both AP PGECET-qualified and GATE/ GPAT eligible and qualified students must attend the AP PGECET web counselling process for admission into M.Tech/ M.Pharma/ Pharma.D (PB) courses. 
• Admission will be granted after you satisfy all the prescribed AP PGECET eligibility criteria.
• Admission will be confirmed once the candidates submit the tuition fee.
• Seats left after the conclusion of seat allotment of GATE/ GPAT aspirants will be available for AP PGECET applicants.
• Students will not receive any separate notification regarding the AP PGECET counselling process from the authorities. Only attending the counselling, doesn't guarantee a seat.
