The AP PGECET 2020 counselling is expected to begin for the candidates who have qualified the entrance examination during the last week of June month in 2020. Candidates can fill their options before the end of the last date for the AP PGECET 2020 counselling registration process. the 2020 counselling for AP PGECET will be an online process which will be organized separately for both Engineering and Pharmacy programmes. Candidates can fill their college preferences online after document verification. Apart from this, they have to pay INR 1000 as counselling fee to participate in the process.

Before proceeding to the counselling process, the first step is to verify all the certificates.
Candidates will have to bring the original documents with 2 sets of photocopies at the time of verification. Mentioned below are the requisite documents for the process:
Documents required by Special Category candidates:
PH Category: Candidates who belong to the category have to submit a certificate issued by the District Medical Board and should have a disability of 40% and above.
CAP Category: Candidates who belong to this category should submit the following documents:
NCC Category: Candidates who belong to this category have to submit their A, B, C certificates.
After verifying all the certificates, eligible candidates will then have to apply for web counselling.
Before selecting a preferred college and course, one needs to register and generate a new password using their registration Number, Hall Ticket Number, Rank, Date of Birth as mentioned in the Certificate Verification.
Seat Allotment Process
AP PGECET 2020 Seat Allotment will be announced after completion of each round of AP PGECET counselling procedure.
Here is what the candidates, who are applying for the AP PGECET 2020 counselling process on the basis of GATE or GPAT scores, have to do in order to participate in the counselling process of AP PGECET 2020:
Step 1: The candidates have to use the link - https://sche.ap.gov.in/pgecet/PGECET/PGECET_HomePage.aspx firstly to visit the official website of APSCHE
Step 2: The candidates have to search for the “AP PGECET 2020 Counselling” link on the homepage of the official website for registration purpose
Step 3: The candidates will be asked to choose their desired stream from the drop-down list (GATE/GPAT)
Step 4: In this step, the candidates will be asked to fill in their personal details such as name, contact number, qualifying degree etc
Step 5: After filling in all the details asked for, the candidates have to click on the “Initiate Payment” tab to pay the counselling registration fee
Step 6: The candidates have to use any of the available online payment methods to pay an amount of 659 rupees (plus Taxes) to register for the AP PGECET 2020 counselling process
Step 7: After receiving payment confirmation, the candidates have to visit the official website again to check their payment status by using their contact number and GATE/GPAT Admit Card number
While allocating seats, first preference will be given to the GATE/GPAT applicants and the remaining seats will be filled by AP PGECET qualified candidates.
The candidates must not forget to carry these following certificates during the AP PGECET 2020 counselling procedure:
AP PGECET 2020 rank card (or GATE/GPAT 2020 scorecard)
Class Xth certificate
Study certificates (from class Xth till graduation)
Integrated Community Certificate (OBC/SC/ST candidates)
Residence certificate (either parent for a period of 10 years)
Income certificate (Ration card etc)
EWS certificate (issued by Tehsildar)
Here are some pointers regarding the AP PGECET 2020 counselling process which must be remembered by the candidates:
GATE/GPAT eligible and qualified candidates have to attend the AP PGECET 2020 web counselling process for admission into M.Tech/M.E/Pharma.D (PB)/M.Pharmacy courses and have to visit any of the Helpline centres mentioned below for the same
Admission will be granted after the candidates satisfy all the prescribed criteria
Admission will be confirmed once the candidates submit the tuition fee
Seats left after the conclusion of seat allotment of GATE/GPAT candidates will be available for AP PGECET candidates
The candidates will not receive any separate notification regarding the AP PGECET 2020 counselling process from the authorities
Only by attending the counselling, the candidates will not be guaranteed a seat
A non-refundable processing fee has to be paid by the candidates using any of the available online payment methods
Processing Fee - INR 1000/- (Gen/OBC candidates)
Processing Fee - INR 500/- (SC/ST candidates)
During the payment of the online processing fee, the candidates have to enter their GPAT/GATE/AP PGECET 2020 Admit Card/Hall Ticket number
