Maharashtra B.Pharm 2026 Merit List

The B.Pharm merit list plays a crucial role in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), as it determines the order in which candidates are allotted seats during counselling rounds. Before releasing the final merit list, the CET Cell publishes a provisional merit list, allowing candidates to verify personal details, marks, category information, and document validation status. Any discrepancies can be corrected through a grievance mechanism. After resolving all objections, the final merit list is published, upon which candidates can proceed with CAP rounds, options filling, and seat allocation. The merit list typically includes important details such as candidate names, application numbers, CET/ JEE scores, percentile, rank, category, and eligibility status. Since seat allotment is strictly based on merit rank, understanding the merit list and its implications becomes essential for aspirants aiming for admissions in top pharmacy colleges across Maharashtra.

The final merit list of Maharashtra state and All India for 2025 is given in the below table.

Download PDF Maharashtra State Final Merit List - Download PDF All India Final Merit List -

Maharashtra B.Pharm Selection Process 2026

As part of the Maharashtra B.Pharm selection process and results 2026, a normalisation process will be conducted, which will be used to shortlist the eligible candidates. As per the guidelines, the sets of question papers will be different in each shift. Since the sets of question papers that will be offered to candidates will be of different difficulty levels, and to ensure that the candidates do not face an advantage or disadvantage due to this inconsistency, a normalisation process will be conducted. The normalisation process will be conducted using the percentiles of the candidates. For further details, you can check out the link below to learn about the normalisation process in detail.

Maharashtra B Pharmacy Reporting and Admission Confirmation

Candidates who have been allotted seats as per their first preference in Round I (auto-freezed) must pay the seat acceptance fee in the online mode by logging in using their credentials. Such applicants must take note that they will not be eligible for participation in subsequent CAP rounds. Moreover, those applicants who have been allotted seats other than their first preference and self-freezed in the Round I must accept the seat allotted to them and pay the seat acceptance fees in the online mode itself. Those candidates also will not be eligible for participation in subsequent rounds of counselling.

Applicants who have accepted their allotted seats must report to the allotted institute for confirmation of admission. The institute will subsequently verify the documents and upload the admission order of the respective candidate in the online system through the institute login immediately, and will issue a system-generated receipt of confirmation of admission and a fee paid receipt to the candidate.

    B.Pharmacy Maharashtra Counselling Process

The counselling process will be conducted in the online mode by Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. Counselling is conducted entirely online through the official CET Cell portal and involves several structured stages—registration, document uploading, document verification, publication of merit lists, option filling, seat allotment, and final reporting. Each stage is designed to ensure that candidates are evaluated fairly based on their academic records, CET scores, category claims, and seat availability.

Detailed Counselling Process of MHT B.Pharmacy Admissions 2026

    Check the steps below.

    Steps Detailed Process
    Online Registration for CAP
    • After the MHT CET results, eligible students must register for the CAP (counselling) process.

    • During registration, you’ll need to upload certain documents.

    • There may or may not be a counselling fee depending on your category. For 2025, those who appeared in PCB MHT CET did not have to pay counselling fees.

    Document Verification
    • After registration, your uploaded documents need to be verified. This can be done either online (e-scrutiny) or physically.

    • It is very important to verify within the specified timeline. Missing this can disqualify you from merit list consideration.

    • Common documents needed: Class 12 marksheet, MHT CET scorecard, domicile certificate, category certificate (if applicable), identity proof, etc.

    Merit List Preparation and Publication
    • After verification, CET Cell prepares a provisional merit list for CAP.

    • There is usually a grievance window: if you think there is any mistake (in merit list), you can raise objections.

    • After that, a final merit list is published.

    Seat Matrix Release
    • For each CAP round, CET Cell publishes a seat matrix (i.e., how many seats are available in different colleges / categories) before you fill your options.

    • For example, before Round 1 they published a provisional seat matrix in 2025.

    Filling Option Form
    • Once seat matrix is out, you fill in the option form, i.e., you list colleges (and courses) in the order of your preference.

    • It’s very important to choose wisely because allotment will be based on your merit rank + preferences + availability.

    • After filling, you often need to “confirm” or “lock” your options; you must check all choices carefully before submitting.

    Seat Allotment
    • Based on merit + the option form, CET Cell performs seat allotment for that CAP round.
    Reporting to the Allotted Institute
    • After accepting the seat, you need to physically (or as per the rules) report to the institute allotted.

    • This requires carrying all original documents for verification.

    • Pay admission / college fees (as required) to confirm your admission.
