NIFT seat matrix 2024 can be discovered on the official website of the institute @ nift.ac.in. Candidates can also check out the complete pdf of this seat matrix which comprises category-wise seat availability at different NIFT campuses. The seat allocation will be done based on the performance in the GAT, CAT, GD/PI or Situation test (if applicable). This seat matrix depicts the total number of seats offered by all the National Institutes of Fashion Technology (NIFTs), category-wise seat availability, reservation policy and more.

The overall number of NIFT seats available for design courses has increased to 5,289 as of 2024 (up from 5,215 in 2023). These consist of 424 state domiciles, 473 NRI, and 4394 All-India seats. The BFTech programme offers 652 seats at the UG level, compared to 3399 seats for the BDes programme.

The Master's programs such as MFTech, MFM, and MDes all together contribute to 1,238 available seats across NIFT campuses. These seats are spread across different courses including Bachelor of Design (BDes), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech), Master of Fashion Management (MFM), Master of Design (MDes), and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech). NIFT Panchkula has been recently added to the NIFT 2024 participating colleges. NIFT Seat Matrix 2024: Reservation Policy

Candidates appearing for the NIFT entrance exam 2024 can go through the table mentioned below and get an idea of the reservation percentage for all the categories:
