ONGC Recruitment through CLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
ONGC prescribes the eligibility criteria for the recruitment through CLAT 2026. It is of utmost importance to meet the minimum requirements laid down by ONGC. The CLAT 2026 eligibility criteria and the ONGC criteria are a bit different. If an applicant is unable to satisfy the eligibility criteria, he/she would not be considered for the further recruitment process.
- They must be an LLB graduate. The aspirant must possess either a 3-year LLB or a 5-year integrated LLB degree.
- The LLB ought to be from an institution or university approved by the BCI (Bar Council of India) .
- The applicant must secure at least an aggregate of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. 5% relaxation is provided to those under SC/ST/PWD. They can apply with aggregate marks of 55% marks.
- If you have passed the degree through Distance/ Part-Time/ Open/ Correspondence programmes, he/she is not eligible for ONGC recruitment through CLAT 2026.
- If applicants have a work experience of a minimum of 3 years, they would be given preference during the recruitment process.
- The applicants should take note that the maximum age limit for the recruitment is 30 years as of 1st January 2025. Reserved category students are provided with relaxation as displayed below.
