CENTAC 2025 Application Form will be released soon through online mode. Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC), Government of Puducherry manages the admission procedure. This state-level admission procedure will be held for selecting the Candidates for admission in various Engineering, Pharmacy, and  Medical Programmes. Candidates will get selected for admission based on their merit and scores on national-level exams. Selected candidates from the admission procedure will get admission in various courses provided at Govt. and private institutions across the state. Candidates must fill out the application form before the due date set by the university. The candidates can get admission within the faculty based on their scores and performance within the HSC exams or any equivalent examination. Puducherry offers admission to various paramedical courses such as B.Sc. in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology, DMLT, Bachelor in Physiotherapy, etc.

Puducherry Paramedical Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility for paramedical admissions in Puducherry will vary from course to course. Check out the course-wise eligibility in the table below:

In addition, the applicant must have also studied English as one of the main subjects.
2	B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology (B. Sc in MLT)	3- Years	Candidates need to pass 10+2 examination from a recognized education board in Tamil Nadu. or its equivalent examination In order to be eligible, candidates need to secure at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam. Candidates belonging to the OBC / BCM / MBC / EBC / BT / SC/ ST category need to secure minimum of 40% marks with Physics, Chemistry,  Zoology, Biology / Botany, or Foundation science and medical Laboratory assistance course as their main subject. Further, the candidate must have also studied English as one of the subjects in the qualifying exam.
3	B.Sc. in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (B.Sc in MRIT)	3- Years	Need to pass Higher Secondary Examination from any recognised education board of Tamil Nadu or secured its equivalent qualification with at least 45% marks. Candidates belonging to the OBC / BCM / MBC / EBC / BT / SC/ ST category need to secure minimum 40% marks in aggregate, in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Botany and Zoology. Must have studied English as main subjects in the qualifying exam.
4	Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (D.M.L.T)	2- Years	Pass in 10+2 or its equivalent qualification with 40% aggregate marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology as their main subjects. (OR) Need to secure qualification in Vocational Stream with not less than 40% marks with Physics, Foundation Science & Medical Laboratory Assistant as their main subjects.
5	Diploma in Dialysis Technology (D.D.T)	2- Years	Passed higher secondary examination or 10+2 or its equivalent qualification with not less than 40% marks in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology as their main subjects.

How to Apply for Puducherry Paramedical Admission 2025

• The application form can be filled out in both online or offline for paramedical admissions in Puducherry

• To fill up the application, the candidate will either have to visit the official website and start filling the application form and pay the fees via Netbanking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card.

• In the case of offline application, the candidate will have to take a print out of the form, fill in the same and submit it to the respective along with DD of application fee.

Puducherry Paramedical Selection Process 2025

Admission to all paramedical courses in Puducherry will be done on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the last qualifying examination (i.e. Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology / Botany & Zoology). The candidates will be selected based on the merit list which will be released by CENTAC.

Method of Normalization:-

Under the method of normalization, the highest mark obtained by the students of the different boards in each subject shall be equal to the highest mark obtained by the students of the State Board in that subject, and correspondingly the relative mark of the other students shall be calculated in that subject.

For Example:-

If the highest marks secured by the state board students are 100 marks in Physics and the highest mark secured by a student of any other Board say are 90 in the same subject, then both the highest marks shall be considered to be equal to 100.

If a candidate secured 60 marks then it shall be considered to be equal to 66 marks i.e. 100 x 60)/ 90 = 66.667. After normalization marks obtained shall be merged with a common merit list.
