The last date to apply for TN DPharm admission 2025 is August 18, 2025 (till 05.00 pm). To be eligible for admissions, students must have passed Class 10+2 in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as the compulsory subjects.
Admissions to the Diploma in Pharmacy course in Tamil Nadu are purely based on a student's merit, and no entrance examination is required. Based on the marks a student has scored in their Class 12th exam, a merit list will be prepared by the concerned authorities.

- Visit the official website of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Tamil Nadu, at tnhealth.tn.gov.in or click on the direct link to the online form given above.
- On the homepage, look for the “Tamil Nadu D Pharm Application Form 2025” notification. After clicking on this notification, you will be redirected to the TN DPharm 2025 application form.
- Fill out the application form with all the necessary details, such as your personal and educational details and contact information. Before making the final submission, make sure to preview the form one last time in case of any changes/modifications.
- As a next step, you will now be required to upload your important documents, such as your Class 10th and 12th marksheets, passing certificates from Class 10th, 11th, and 12th, transfer certificate, proof of study from Class 6th to 12th, and a copy of your community certificate (if required). Tamil Nadu D Pharm Selection Process 2025
The selection of the applicant for the D Pharm in TN is made on the basis of merit, i.e. the performance of candidates in the last qualifying test. The TN D Pharm merit list will be prepared on the basis of the formula mentioned below:

Tamil Nadu D Pharm Merit List 2025
The merit list is expected to be released in September 2025. For releasing the merit list of D.Pharm, the authorities will adopt the method of normalisation where the marks obtained by the students in the relevant subjects in the qualifying examination conducted by various Boards or Authorities shall be equated with the marks obtained by the students in the same subjects in the qualifying examination conducted by the State Board. The ranking of the candidates will be done based on the total marks obtained in the prescribed Science Subjects after normalisation of marks computed to a maximum of 200. Candidates whose names are there on the merit list will be eligible for the online counselling process.
Tamil Nadu D Pharm Counselling Process 2025
To participate in the TN D Pharm counselling process, candidates need to follow these steps:
Check Merit List and Counselling Schedule : Candidates will be contacted for counselling based on their position on the merit list. The counselling schedule will be posted on the official website. Ensure to regularly check the website for updates regarding the counselling schedule.
Pay Processing Fee : Before attending the counselling, candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 250/- by Demand Draft (DD). The DD should be made payable to "The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai-10" in Chennai.
Attend Counselling : On the specified date and time, attend the counselling session. During the counselling process, candidates may select the college of their choice based on availability.
Representation by Parent : If a candidate is unable to attend the counselling due to unforeseen circumstances, their parent may attend on their behalf.
Special Categories : Special category counselling for Ex-Servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) will be conducted before the General Category counselling. There will be no reallocation or change of college after the counselling process.
Reserved Seats : There are 8 seats reserved for Children of Ex-Servicemen in Government Colleges.
Participation without Call Letter : Candidates who do not receive the call letter can also participate in the counselling session.
