XAT 2022- Tips and Tricks for Preparation

Following are some tips and tricks candidates must go through to develop a strategy for their one-month preparation. Check the tips mentioned below for different sections:

  • Decision Making: This section consists of situation-based and logical reasoning questions. Students must prepare a list of key topics and important questions included in this section like CSR, Corporate Principles, and many more. As mentioned earlier, this section has been introduced a few years ago, so not much content for preparation is available online. Candidates must practice previous year's papers for the same.

  • General Knowledge: Amongst all the sections, General Knowledge is regarded as the easiest of all and takes the least time. Aspirants are expected to regularly be updated with Current Affairs and the latest news related to Business, International, Entertainment, Sports, Politics, Science, etc. Students must try to jot down important and relevant news one month before for much ease and revision at the last minute.

  • Verbal &  Logical Ability: It is essential to score well in every section of XAT 2022. Aspirants must try solving various passages and questions related to vocabulary and grammar on daily basis. The only way to score well in this section is to read the passage carefully and answer the questions as quickly as possible to save time.

  • Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation: This section also required considerate time and practice. It contains topics such as Algebra, Algorithms, Geometry, Profit and Loss, Percentage, and many more. Candidates are advised to plan their schedule in such a way that at least 5-10 questions can be solved each day before one month of the exam.
