What You Should Know Before Applying

  • The figures presented in that table tell you a lot, but what they don't reveal is important. When Amity says, "4-6 LPA average," it means that while some students get 8-10 LPA, others get 2.5-3 LPA. Your CUET score gets you select entry into this university with maybe a scholarship as well, but your actual job offer will depend upon how well you code and perform in interviews.
  • Private universities such as Amity, Galgotias, and Sharda have improved placement cells that tend to invite more companies. Besides, these are in Noida/Greater Noida, which translates to more and better access to IT firms and internships. In a public college, the fees would be significantly less, and it would require some effort to unearth the many opportunities.
  • The scholarship ratings sound good-"up to even 100% scholarship"-but let's be realistic. To my knowledge, only the top 1-2 percent CUET scorers get complete scholarships. The majority of the students are given discounts ranging from 25 percent to 50 percent; well, it does help a bit, but it is not going to make a big difference in life. Also, find out whether the scholarship is continued for all three years or only in the first one, as some colleges give benefits only for the first year.
  • People underestimate the influence of locations. Colleges in the NCR (Noida and Greater Noida) promise good job opportunities, but the cost of living is very high there. Lucknow is less expensive and has some opportunities. Relatively smaller cities like Meerut and Mathura have the minimum living expenses, but perhaps a job may lead you to bigger cities after graduation.

Choose a college based on what you can afford and the environment most suited to your learning style. Whether it is Amity with scholarship or Lucknow University to save money, know that it just gets you started-your skills and projects get you placed afterward. Focus on learning to code well, do internships from the second year itself, and build a GitHub portfolio. That matters rather than whether your college has a fancy campus or not. All the best for CUET 2026 and your journey with BCA!

LPU offers a great B.Tech CSE program, with tuition around ₹1,40,000 per semester plus ₹4,500 for exams, totaling approximately ₹2.9 lakh yearly. Students should explore LPUNEST-based scholarships, which can substantially lower the overall cost. Always confirm the latest fee structure on the official LPU website.

Yes, Lovely Professional University allows students to pay their fees in parts, depending on the admission cycle and university guidelines. You can usually pay the initial or half fee at the time of admission to confirm your seat. The remaining amount can be paid before or shortly after the start of classes, as per the deadlines mentioned in your offer letter. LPU also provides easy installment options. For exact dates, you should check your admission portal or contact the admission helpline.

Cut off for b tech , Artificial Intelligence Course

LPU does not follow a fixed cutoff for B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence because the admission and scholarship categories depend on performance in LPUNEST or JEE Main scores. Generally, students with good scores in LPUNEST qualify for higher scholarship categories, while those with average scores can still get admission under lower categories. For JEE Main applicants, scoring around the 70–80 percentile or above improves chances for better scholarships. Even if your score is moderate, you can still get admission because LPU keeps the process flexible. Meeting the basic eligibility of 60% in 12th with Physics, Maths and English is essential.
