You will be eligible to attend the TS PGECET round 2 counselling if you qualify any of the following conditions:-

Eligibility Rule 1

Those who acquired seats in round 1 and wish to move to another college.

Eligibility Rule 2

Those who participated in round 1 but did not get a seat.

Eligibility Rule 3

Those who did not participate in round 1, even after being called for counselling.

Eligibility Rule 4

Those who were allotted a seat in round 1 but did not report to the college.

Eligibility Rule 5

Those who were allotted a seat in round 1 but cancelled their admission.

Who is Not Eligible for TS PGECET Round 2 Counselling?

The following students will not be eligible for TS PGECET round 2 counselling:-

Non-Eligibility Rule 1

Those who were allotted seats in round 1 are satisfied with the seats.

Non-Eligibility Rule 2

Those whose documents were not verified.

Important Instructions About TS PGECET Round 2 Counselling 2025

You can take a look at some of the crucial guidelines mentioned below that you are required to keep in mind about the TS PGECET 2025 Round 2 counselling:-

  • The choices filled in by you in Round 1 will not be considered valid for Round 2, and you will be required to fill in choices separately for Round 2 counselling.
  • If you are satisfied with the seats allotted in round 1, then you will not be required to fill in the choices further.
  • It is advisable for you to also undertake choice filling for the institutes with no vacant seats, since the seats can be vacant later as a result of sliding, seat cancellation, and conversions.
  • If you are allotted seats in Round 2, then you will not be able to exercise any claim on the seats allotted in Round 1. You will be required to report to the allotted institute before the specified deadline. Failing to do so will make you lose your claim on the allotted seats.
  • If you seek to cancel your admission after the allotment of round 2, then you will have to directly report to the principal of the allotted institute.
  • The seats remaining vacant after the allotment of GATE /GPAT qualified students will remain available for students qualifying TS PGECET.

TS PGECET Counselling 2025

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) is in charge of conducting the process of TS PGECET 2025 counselling , comprising registration, payment of fee and verification of documents on its official website pgecet.tsche.ac.in. The TS PGECET counselling 2025 takes place separately for those who have qualified GATE/ GPAT and those possessing a valid rank in the TS PGECET exam 2025. During the course of the TS PGECET 2025 counselling procedure, the GATE-qualified students will be given first preference.

Dear Student,

It is not mandatory to pay the tuition fee for the college allotted in Phase 1 to be eligible for Phase 2 of TS PGECET 2025 counselling. If you wish to upgrade your seat you can participate in Phase 2 web options even if you do not pay the fees or report to the college allotted in the first phase. However, if you have already paid the fee for the Phase 1 college and then get a new seat in the second phase of counselling, the fees paid earlier be transferred to the new college.
