GCETTB Admission Latest Update
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit card is likely to be released between January 18 and 19, 2026. Registered candidates will be able to download the hall ticket from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, by logging in with their credentials. The exam city intimation slip is expected to be issued in the first week of January 2026.
The JEE Main 2026 exam date and allotted exam city are set to be released in the first week of January through the advanced city intimation slip on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download the slip using their application number and password.
The WBJEE 2026 exam schedule is expected to be announced soon on the wbjeeb.nic.in. The exam is likely to be conducted in the last week of April 2026, while the registration process is expected to start from January to February 2026 for admissions into engineering, pharmacy, and architecture courses.
GCETTB Admission 2025
Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Berhampore (GCETTB) admission to its courses is done on the basis of entrance exams. GCETTB accepts entrance exams such as WBJEE for BTech programmes and JELET for lateral entry into 2nd year BTech. Besides, Candidates need to have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with a minimum of 45% for general and 40% for reserved categories, and qualify in either WBJEE or JEE Main. Seat allocation to these courses is carried out through the WBJEEB counselling process for admissions in 2025.
The institute also offers lateral entry in engineering courses through JELET, and direct admission is not available for major UG courses as admission is strictly entrance-based. Students can apply for GCETTB admission in online mode via the official WBJEEB portal.The total tuition fees for UG courses range between Rs 32,700 - 56,700 and the total tuition fees for PG courses is Rs 43,640. Additionally, students might also need to pay for application, exam and other fee components. Please note that this fee information is obtained from the official website/ sanctioning body but is subject to change.

Candidates can fill out the GCETTB application form online only, through WBJEEB for BTech/JELET admissions or through MAKAUT for MTech admissions. The application fee for WBJEE 2025 is Rs 500 (general category) and Rs 400 (reserved category).
