College Accepting IPU CET (BCA)
The GGSIPU CET BCA 2016 Selection Procedure will start just after the entrance exam result is declared. Candidates are first shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. Students then have to follow the counselling procedures for the allotment of BCA colleges. The counselling and the allotment of Colleges for the GGSIPU CET BCA 2016 will be done on the basis of GGSIPU CET BCA 2016 merit list. Results:- IPU CET result is expected to be declared in the month of May /June .Separate result will be declared for each exam. IPU CET Procedure for Checking Results Visit IPU website (http://www.ipuadmissions.nic.in.) Enter the course name, GSIPU CET Number, login password. Note:- For each exam IPU will prepare a list of qualified candidates. Inter-se-ranks will be available for qualified candidates only.
There will be 2 online counselling and one offline counselling. Registration for counselling will starts from first week of June and will end by second week of June. Online counselling will be held in the 1st week of June. Offline counselling will start after the online counselling. Counselling process is given below Submission of counselling fees:- Candidate has to deposit INR 1000(non-refundable) for attending the counseling. For this go to the IPU website (http://www.ipuadmissions.nic.in) Select the option for “payment of counselling participation fee” and enter the CET roll no, date of birth, mobile number. The counseling fees can be paid online through debit card/credit card/net banking or can be paid through Cash Challan. If the payment is through Challan then cash has to be deposited in the IPU bank account whose details will be mentioned on the Challan. Registration for counselling:_ After paying the fees, candidates have to register within the registration period mentioned on the counselling site. If the payment is through Challan, then registration can be done only after two working days of cash deposited in bank. Choice filling:- Fill choices for allotment from the list of all institutes and courses available (in the order of preference). Opportunity to edit/modify/add/delete preferences will be given after allotment of seat in the first round for the subsequent round of counseling. Note: Candidates who do not register /do not pay the counselling fee/ do not fill preference form will not be considered for allotment of seat. Allocation of seats:- Allotment of seat will be based on merit, respective category and region. If seat is allotted, then candidates will have to pay the part of Academic Fee of INR 40,000. Reporting to the designated centers:- Allotted candidates are required to report in person at the designated centers of the IPU for admission Following original documents along with self-attested copies are required at time of reporting:- 3. 10th Class passing certificate 4. 10th Class Mark sheet 5. 12th Class passing certificate 6. 12th Class Mark sheet 7. Academic fee receipt 8. Caste certificate (if applicable) 9. Bachelor’s degree(if applicable) Note:- Candidates who fail to report for admission will have no claim to their allotted seat and their academic fees will be forfeited.
