Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Eligibility Criteria 2021

Before applying for admissions in any of the BOT colleges in India candidates must check the eligibility which is as follows:

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board in India.
  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics as the main subjects of study at the 10+2 level.
  • A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the 10+2 level or equivalent. 

BOT Application Process 2021

In most of the colleges in India, the application form will be released in the online mode. However, some of the institutes may release the application form both in online/ offline mode. The BOT application process followed by most of the colleges in India is as follows:

  • Visit the official website of the college/ university

  • Register and verify your email id and mobile number.

  • Fill in the Online Application Form.

  • Upload the relevant scanned documents such as Class 10 Marksheet, Class 12 Marksheet, Migration Certificate, Transfer Certificate, etc.

  • After completing the application form, applicants must pay the application fee mentioned by the college through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ Demand Draft.

  • After the application fee has been paid the applicant has to submit the application form online or in the admission department of the respective college.

  • Take a printout of the same for future reference

The list of important documents required along with the BOT application form are as follows:

  • Class 10th Certificate and Marksheet

  • Class 12th Certificate and Marksheet

  • Identification Proof Proof (Aadhar Card/ Passport/ Voter Id)

  • Transfer Certificate

  • Migration Certificate

  • Character Certificate

  • Category Certificate (If Applicable)

  • PwD Certificate (If Applicable) 

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Selection Process 2021

The selection of the candidate to the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy course in India varies from college to college. Most of the institutes offer admission to the BOT course on the basis of merit. Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) course at Dept of Occupational Therapy, Seth G.S.Medical College, Mumbai is a 2-year programme offered in specialisation like occupational therapy. The admission to MOT course requires students to have valid scores in Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) with atleast 50% marks from a recognised university.
