The CLAT 2026 question paper format must be known to each and every individual to prepare well for the exam. The CLAT UG and CLAT PG question paper format is devised by the official exam conducting body. The exam has 120 questions for a total of 120 marks. There is negative marking in the exam, and for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. CLAT 2026 will be conducted on December 7, 2025 in offline mode, pen and paper-based format.

What is the marking scheme of the CLAT?

The marking scheme of the CLAT remains unchanged. For every correct answer to the multiple-choice questions, students will be awarded one mark. For wrong answers, -0.25 marks will be deducted. The questions that will remain unanswered or unattempted will be considered 0.
