GATE 2025 BT Qualifying Cutoff Marks (OUT)

IIT Roorkee has released GATE 2025 cutoff marks on the official website. The GATE 2025 BT cutoff for the General, OBC/EWS, and SC/ST/PwD categories is 28, 25.2, and 18.6. GATE 2025 BT exam was attempted by 20,048 students this year, and 24,927 had registered for the GATE 2025 BT exam.

GATE 2025 BT Qualifying Cutoff Marks: GATE 2025 BT cutoff has been released by IIT Roorkee. The cutoff marks for the General, OBC/EWS, and SC/ST/PwD are 28, 25.2, and 18.6, respectively. The GATE Biotechnology qualifying cutoff 2025 is the minimum mark that you must achieve to pass the GATE 2025 exam . The GATE BT qualifying cutoff marks 2025 are available at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The GATE 2025 cutoff is prepared after considering factors like students’ category, difficulty level of the exam, number of students participating, seats available, etc. This year, a total of 24,927 students registered for the GATE BT exam, and 20,048 students appeared on the exam day. GATE 2025 BT General Category Qualifying Marks

In most Indian states, just having a BTech degree is not enough to appear for TET or DSC. You usually need a proper teaching course like B.Ed or D.El.Ed along with it.

This isn’t about how “big” or “small” your degree is. It’s about teacher training. A BTech gives you technical knowledge, but it does not train you to teach students in a classroom. That’s why, even if BTech is a higher degree, it is not considered a teaching qualification. States want teachers who are trained specifically for teaching, which is why they insist on B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
