Eligibility Criteria for HPU BAMS/ BHMS Admission 2021

It is important for you to meet the following BAMS/ BHMS eligibility criteria for admission at HPU.

Educational Qualification

  • You must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from a State Government recognised education board.

  • You must have studied the following subjects in Class 12: Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English.

  • You are required to score at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, if you belong to the General category.

  • For reserved category students (SC/ ST/ OBC), the minimum percentage required is 40 per cent.

Entrance Exam

  • You must have qualified NEET-UG.

  • You must meet the NEET-UG cut-off requirements prescribed by HPU.

Age

  • You must have attained an age of at least 17 years on 31st December of the year of examination.

  • The age limit for admissions is 25 for General category students.

  • Reserved category students get a relaxation of 5 years, which means that the upper age limit for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates is 30 years.

Physical Health Condition

  • Candidates who are deaf or/ and dumb or blind (including colour blind) are not considered eligible for the admissions.

How to Apply for HPU BAMS/ BHMS Admission 2021

The application for HPU BAMS/ BHMS Admission 2021 will be completed in an online format on the official website of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU). here are the steps that you need to follow to ensure a successful application.

  • Visit the official portal of HPU i.e., www.hpuniv.ac.in.

  • On the home page, look for ‘UG Section’ option and click on it.

  • Then click on BAMS/ BHMS courses and you will be redirected to the application portal.

  • Now, fill the form by entering all the required information.

  • Provide all the supporting documents including your NEET-UG 2020 scorecard.

  • The next step would be reviewing your application and proceeding to pay the application fee.

  • After following all the above-mentioned steps, click on the submit button.

  • You will get a notification ensuring the successful submission either via a mail or SMS.

HPU BAMS/ BHMS Admission 2021 Merit List

  • After the result of NEET-UG 2021 is released, Himachal Pradesh University will release a merit list on its official website.

  • The list will contain names of students who have scored equal to or more than the cut-off score prescribed by the concerned authorities.

  • On the basis of this merit list, HPU will be conducting the counselling process.

HPU BAMS/ BHMS Admission 2021 Counselling

  • Candidates will be selected for BAMS and BHMS course at HPU on the basis of the counselling process.

  • HPU will be conducting the counselling process on the basis of NEET-UG merit list.

  • For this, it is important that candidates apply to the university within the stipulated period.

  • HPU will only be conducting counselling for 85% seats under State Quota.

  • The counselling for the rest of the 15% seats under All India Quota will be conducted by a Ministry of AYUSH, GOI designated authority.

The Government Dental College Raipur cutoff 2023 for NEET UG is more than 400 marks for state-quota students. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Raipur has released the NEET cut-off 2023 Chhattisgarh round 1 for 85% of state quota seats. However, the cutoff for 15% AIQ seats at Government Dental College Raipur will be released by MCC. You can check the official cutoff list to be sure whether you are eligible for admission.

For admission to the MBBS course at the Army College of Medical Sciences Delhi, a valid NEET UG 2023 score is necessary. The NEET cut off marks differ for various student categories (GEN, EWS, SC, ST, OBC, etc.). The 458 marks is a good NEET score if you belong to an OBC category. Dear Student, For admission to the BVSc at GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar, the expected ranks vary by category.
