INI CET Exam Day Guidelines

The Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) 2026, which has replaced AIIMS PG, JIPMER PG, PGIMER, and NIMHANS Exams for the admission of various PG medical courses such as MD, M.Ch., DM, MDS, and MS. Candidates must follow the INI CET 2025 Examination Guidelines to go forward with the INI CET 2026 entrance exam. AIIMS Delhi has already released some information such as Dress code, what to carry, what not to carry, forbidden items, when to reach, how to act in the centre, and other important information.

INI CET Exam Day Guidelines 2026

INI CET participants are required to download their admit cards which will be available a week prior to the exam date. On the admit card, there are a few very important instructions listed and applicants should also read them. The rest of the relevant instructions for the INI CET exam day are as discussed below.

INI CET Dress Code 2026

AIIMS has asked candidates to dress according to the season:

  • Easy dresses with almost no pockets and big buttons.

  • Any dress with big buttons is not approved.

  • Inside the hall accessories like goggles, coats, caps, scarves, belts, wristbands, etc are not allowed. Candidates should not wear any of these on the exam day, because if the applicant wishes to remove them, there will be no facility to keep objects safely at the entrance gate.

  • High-heeled shoes with dense soles are strictly forbidden. It is strongly recommended to have flat shoes or open slippers.

  • The candidates who wear a specific attire because of religious beliefs are directed to report early in the centre, to hand over those specific things to management. Otherwise, they won't be able to take the exam.

Documents Required for INI CET 2026

On the day of the examination, all candidates must carry a list of documents required for INI CET 2026. The following documents are required to be produced at the Exam centre for document verification. In case a candidate fails to produce either of these, they will not be allowed to enter the exam centre and appear for the INI CET 2026 Exam. The list of documents that candidates need to take on the day of the examination is given below.

  • A copy of INI CET 2026 Application Confirmation Page

  • INI CET 2026 admit card with a signed statement

  • Government Identity Proof (Aadhar Card/Voter's Card/Passport)

  • Curfew pass (in case required)

​​​​​​INI CET Admit Card 2026

The most important document that you need to carry for the INI CET Exam is the admit card. The admit card will carry all your information such as Name, location venue, timing

  • Carry an original printout of the admit card with IP address, date and time of printing on the 1st line, at the top.

  • Photocopies or dull printouts of admit cards are not considered valid.

  • Any incorrect data on admit card may cancel the candidature of the candidate.

  • Candidates must read and sign the declaration with place and date.

Identity Proof for INI CET 2026

On the day of INI CET, the candidates must also carry one of the following photo identity proof in original at the exam centre along with the hall ticket:

Aadhar Card

Voter's ID Card

PAN Card

Driver's License

Note: Xerox copy of id proofs or their scanned copy will not be considered valid.

Prohibited Items at INI CET 2026 Exam Center

The applicants shall not carry the following items in the examination hall, otherwise, their examination will be cancelled.

  • Mobile Phones, Pagers, Calculators, Bluetooth Devices, Pen drives etc.

  • Wristwatches, clocks, Ornaments, Wrist bands, Goggles, Headgears, Scarfs, Jackets, etc.

  • Pen, Pencil, Paper, books, bags, bottles etc.

Important Guidelines for INI CET 2026

  • All candidates are demanded to arrive early at the exam centre on time.

  • Candidates from PWD or such category who dress according to religious values should reach the examination centre early.

  • Candidates should follow all guidelines related to COVID-19

  • At the exam hall, a spare paper is not allowed, but candidates may use the back of the admit card to do rough work.

  • To mark the attendance, the admit card must be submitted to the invigilator.

  • Do not use the keyboard in INI CET exam.

  • Follow all the guidance given by the invigilator.

  • Aspirants need to wear mask at the exam centre

  • Do not forget to carry hand sanitizer to the exam hall

  • Follow social distancing norms and keep a distance of 2ft. from other aspirants
