The All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi will host the INI CET 2024 July session exam on May 19, 2024. INI CET 2023 July Session Exam Analysis - Detailed

INI CET 2024 July Session Exam Analysis will be updated here after the exam is conducted on May 19, 2024. Previously, INI CET exam for July was conducted for 3 hours between 9 am - 12 pm for 200 marks. Topics from Pre-Clinical Phase, Para-Clinical Phase, and Clinical Phase were asked in the exam. INI CET Question Paper Difficulty Level - 2023

The INI CET exam was of moderate to high level difficulty.  As per the testaments by several students, 46.5% of questions were on the difficult side, 46,5% on the moderate and 7% were relatively on the easier side. As per the majority of the students who took the test, they found the clinical paper to be slightly challenging in nature while pre-clinical and post-clinical were moderately easy. The July session INI CET paper was tougher than the January session.

INI CET Exam Analysis - Most Questions Asked

Last year, students found that questions from topics like Pharmacology, Bio-chemistry, Microbiology, PSM, and Pathology were of high weightage and asked several times during the paper. Students were of the opinion that the INI CET paper was slightly lengthy in nature.

Total No. Of Good Attempts

Candidates were able to attempt around 160 questions easily. Around 35-40% were image-based. The image based questions were tricky in nature and were highly conceptual. Around 60-70% were similar to previous years question paper type but with a slight twist.

INI CET July Paper Analysis - Recall Questions

As the exams were slightly tougher than the previous session, experts believe that the cutoff will be less as compared to July session. This will make it tougher for students to clear the exam.

    INI CET 2022 July Session Exam Analysis

    INI CET exam for july session 2022 was held on May 8, 2022. Candidates appeared for the test in hope to secure admission into PG courses. Based on students’ reactions, 46% of candidates found the exam to be of moderate difficulty. 45% students felt that the test was difficult while the remaining 9% thought that the exam was easy. 

    Here are some detailed breakdown given by students:

    • Mixed type of questions were asked in the exam. Most of the candidates were of the opinion that clinic-based questions were asked in abundance.

    • Many students found the paper to be on the lengthier side of things.

    • Candidates found that mainly 2 types of questions were asked in the exam in equal proportion - Image-Based and Theoretical.

    • Unlike previous instances, most of the candidates didn’t face any technical challenges during the test. All the safety standards were of top-notch standards. Test-centers officials took extra precautionary measures amid COVID-19 at the centres.

    INI CET 2022 July Session Difficulty-Level

    • Pupils who thoroughly reviewed past years' papers found the exam easy. Their regular review of the previous year's papers allowed them to anticipate types of questions that are asked oftenly.

    • Students who extensively read the theory and used recorded video lectures to learn found the test to be of moderate difficulty. They were able to retain the majority of the material due to the unique study style. 

    • Aspirants who were unable to recall material throughout the exam found it difficult to crack the test. They found that questions from organism is oxidase & catalase-positive, Peutz Jegher's disease, and the sequence of events in the cardiac cycle cost them a lot of marks in the test.

    INI CET 2022 July Session Question Paper Pattern

    The INI CET 2022 exam for July session comprises of a variety of topics, including:

    • Questions around pink cannula, tension pneumothorax, and adrenaline dilution were asked quite frequently during the test.

    • Students were able to bag in high marks from these concepts - qSOFA, high-anion-gap Metab acidosis, HPV-protein in vaccination, STDs, Kcat/Km, and iritis.

    • A few difficult questions were asked in the paper from Robson's criterion, Vibrio diarrhoea, cramping in a pregnant woman, and Letterer-Siwe illness in children.

    • Image-based questions were asked in abundance in the test.

    • Many time-consuming extended-matching type questions were asked.

    • Students found the multiple-choice questions to be more difficult than the original PGI pattern since previously they had to choose from a limited number of correct options such as a, b, c OR a, c, d.

    INI CET Paper Analysis 2021

    INI CET 2021 successfully took place on 22nd July. The exam began in the morning shift at 9 AM and ended after three hours at 11 AM.     • The exam takers of INI CET had mixed feelings about the difficulty level. 
    • Some said that the difficulty level of INI CET was moderate, whereas some called it difficulty.
